Title: High quality .mkv files

If I play them with VLC media player, im constantly skipping and stuttering (like frames I think)
and if I play them with MPC (Media player classic) I have anything from 3-5 second audio lag.

Any possible diagnoses? I can only guess that my computer is too old for it...

HDD probably doesn't have high enough speeds to read it properly

Not really.. You tried any other programs.
