Title: Winter's Come Early to New England
Post by: tics on October 29, 2011, 04:26:54 PM
Well it's snowing here in Northern Connecticut, and most of New England.

I took some pictures.

My backyard. Camera was being a bitch and made it dark.

Front yard, some of the lake, some trees, and a cottage across the street.

Hyundai Elantra

Expecting 6 to 12 inches by the time this is done.

Sending this from a laptop in Cape Cod at my grandparents' house.

Power's been out since saturday, and Connecticut Light and Power says it'll probably be Sunday before full restoration. Live in northern Tolland county for those of you who know where it is. I'll be enjoying the power and heat at my grandparents here in Chatham, Mass. for now.

It hasn't snowed here in Indiana(united states) yet.  I don't know when to expect any.  Not like it matters to me, I'm always inside, just another excuse for me not to go outside.  The only time I'll go outside is to get all the snow off the cars, our drive way, and our sidewalks at my house, and probable a few of my neighbors and grandparents.  Other than that I'll be inside.

I don't ever expect snow in Ohio.  We seem to never get snow during winter.  When we do it's like 2 inches.

Some times it gets bad.  Last year it snowed to 1 1/2 feet, rained, snowed again, and became solid.

I NEVER enter my back yard during winter.  The back yard faces west, directly to the west of us is an open field, that icy wind is brutal coming across the field.
