I speak for a lot of outlands players when I say please change the map. One thing is I don't really think it's fair how city got two map changes in on month. Also it's about time, we been in the canals for months and it's getten old. We do the same old rp every day and then we hope for a OTA or npcs to appear so we can have some fun. We need to be able to rp without those things and not get bored but rping with a small group can get boring really fast. If we got a new map we could rp exploring/finding new supplys/meeting new people/or finding a place to call "home". Please rofl or karma think about this please. Please support.

Now, I'm going to say this once, and once only: although a new outlands map would be nice, we can't have a "town" like you suggested. It just wouldn't fit canon if the Combine left a town in the outlands unscaved, and before you say we rebuild a town the Combine would just come in APC's and roll over the entire thing. If we were to have some kind of town, it'd have to be hidden, the only thing I can think of is underground, or in the sewers maybe. But, on the map change thing, on the fence about it. Because I actually kind of like outer canals. Its not too buggy, it doesn't attract many minges, and its well made.
Thats just my two cents though.

We could have a town, It would just have to be quite heavily guarded and hiden, Maybe when OTA arive all the refugees go through a tunnel system to get out or something?

Your post is very appreciated. I would support this because outlands is getting boring by the looks of it due to the same roleplay over and over and over. As if, every location you go is starting to get old. The coast map you have suggested is rather good. 1+

We need a new map really badly, people are getting bored and leaving Outlands because of the map so i think we should get a new map and more events to appeal to other players in CG

I'm not gonna suggest any specific map I just hope it's big and fits the mood of Outlands. I still don't see why so many people have a problem with the current one.

I know it's suppose to be like fallout 3 or stalker, but It sorta looks like the outlands since it's a wasteland

Do not get me wrong, the map at the moment i think is fine. But if a new map will get more people to be attracted to the Outlands, then thats what we need to do. Also there are so many awesome maps, just type in Outlands in the search bar on Garrysmod.org and you will find anything.

Do not forget, some of the lazy people will not want to go and download the new map. To be honest the one we have right now is perfect. I haven't seen any that were better. Its quite large too. I am gonna look some more as I am interested.

I would think, that if you can prove that outlands has a good playerbase, then you would probably get a map change. Nobody is bothered at the moment as you have a max of about 5 people most of the time, unless city breaks etc.

This is more of a stalker map but after viewing it in source sdk it'll be a good replacement for rp_outercanals.

I am locking this in the next few days because this has gone out of hand. Also I would say that None of the maps are gonna be added. Stautas map has already been approved by roflwaffle and he just needs to make it.
