I will unfortunately be on an unexpected leave. My Gmod has become unplayable. I literally start Gmod, join the server, and within 3 minutes, the screen goes purple, yellow, green and sprays white dots then freezes. I have to ctrl-alt-delete every time. This just started happening today. IDK what is going on.
I did buy a new comp a few days ago, and it came in today. Even MORE unfortunately, I am on vacation and shipped it to my house. It said it would arrive August 1st or later. It arrived today. -_-
So, I will not be able to play on the server for a while. :(
EDIT: Edited OP title to avoid confusion.
EDIT2: Will try to get on Gmod periodically. Although IMO it's not worth it if I crash at random intervals.
-
Fuck. I Will miss you and your buttcheeks :'(
-
Oh c'mon, it's not worth to leave.
You can do the forums untill that new computer is ready to play GMod!
-
......I'm just on leave from the server, not forums.. it's only my Gmod.

Uhm, last time an admin said leave he actually did leave. So understand my mistake.
-
....and this is why admins usually only post in the admin section when going on leave. People get confused, and forget the difference between "leave" and "on leave," as in vacation in most cases, or temporary leave.
-
And I did...
EDIT: Just tried to get on the server, crashed within 10 seconds. -_-
-
Have you tried cleaning the dust?
-
"I did buy a new comp a few days ago"
Was it prebuilt? I hope not :C, have you tried cleaning your PC out and getting the latest drivers? Maybe the graphics card is fucked like mine, try running on built-in graphics (it should atleast run gmod on low settings)
-
Don't mean to bump, but just installed a new version of the graphics card, did a defrag, cleaned dust. Trying now.
EDIT: Nope, didn't work. Uninstalling and reinstalling gmod.
-
Have you actually tried Uninstalling GMod?
Or removing your GMod File, it could be one of your mods or something..
-
Ok, reinstalling and uninstalling seems to have done it. Locking.
