Hey there. I'm looking for a forum provider that is either free, or within a reasonable price, for me to essentially have a board for a project I'm currently working on. To quickly describe what I'm trying to do, I'm wanting a place where I can have boards and spaces to upload some stories and related things I'm creating/created. Being the great noob that I am, I've never really looked into stuff like this before, and was wondering if anyone here could suggest a forum provider or at least stuff I should be looking out for. Along with that, if someone'd be willing to maybe give me a few pointers and help on setting it up (or at least getting me started), that'd be cool as well!

I'm just a bit confused right now. Do you want a forum like what we have here, or more of a blog type thing? If you want a forum like CG's, SMF is good. Or you can try WordPress. or learn html, css, php, javascript, ruby, etc and make your own :)

I'm looking for a little bit of both. I'm going to be wanting to be making blog like posts/updates and what not, but I also want message boards where people can post suggestions, have discussions and stuff of that nature.
