Hello everyone, I haven't been here in god knows how long but i'm seeking help since im getting back into gaming. Well i just started gaming agian and i updated my drivers and everything and when i join a server it goes to retrieving server info and then when it says sending client info my computer crashes. It doesnt happen in other games like Mount and Blade. Please help

Does this only happen in Garry's Mod?

Right click GMod in Steam -> Properties -> Local Files -> Verify Integrity of Game Cache.

What are your system specs?

Download HWMonitor, start it, and start the game. Keep an eye on the temperature of your hardware and make sure your GPU, CPU, or motherboard isn't overheating.

HWMonitor also shows you what hardware you have.

Start HWMonitor, start a game, and monitor the temperature of the CPU, GPU, and motherboard until your computer crashes. Record the temperatures and post them here.
