Title: Crash on startup
Post by: William ?"Fish?" Nautilus on June 01, 2011, 09:38:32 PM: Hey guys, ive been trying to play on the OCRP server recently, but i crash (windows says that the game stops responding) whenever i connect to the server.

I have tried updating drivers/directx, ive restarted my computer (obviously lol), ive tried changing settings and fixing issues, all without success.

Any ideas of what might be causing these issues?

just tried it. made it into the game, HUD was all loaded up and everything but none of my rates were moving (ping in/outbound traffic etc.)

Post by: Meatwad on June 02, 2011, 12:36:28 AM: I think it crashes you when all your addons load after joining the server, try extracting the files inside the addons folder into your gmod/gmod folder, I had this problem after I did that it got fixed.

Maybe you guys just have to much content? Try to remove some of your content or re-install your GMod.

It could be because your computer is not good enough to hold up all of your content + OCRP.

and delete your gmod folder when you are doing that
