Title: Ineu2 Teaser 2

Started work on it. I pretty much have nothing going on, not even work for the next month so don't be surprised if I finish it by February. Keep in mind everything is uber blocky cause they're dev bases. As in, I build off them. So this basically shows the general layout of everything. Not the final product.

I must say, i admire the patience and dedication that has to go to make a map, specially one like this.

Yeah for the simplicity of this, it took me a good 4 or so hours to do lol. This is the first time I've created a map this way so, I'm hoping it'l keep me interested and speed up construction by a lot.

Good job statua. I like the open atmosphere that you create. Could you possibly add more easter eggs like you did with the last map update? It was very fun finding 'em.

Well there's the inn, the castle, a warehouse, and a bunker for strongholds. There's also a mine system. There's tons of areas for 'territorial control'. There will be a couple cottages by the lake. There will also be trails running alongside the river to move along.

Keep in mind you're looking at the base of the map, not the actual features.

oooooo I am interesting in the mine system. Perhaps add some zombies in the outskirts of the mines, just on the very end of the tunnels. Also, could you add a waterfall kinda like the old map? I thought the one by that cottage was p badass and I'd love to see something similar to it.

I understand that, but people will still want the most badass/cool/defensible/whateverelse place and will still try and fight over it.

Right now, there's really only two groups in Outlands(Well major anyway)and that's the crazies and the clinic, and the crazies are really only three people.
But there's also almost never been fighting among groups over areas/buildings and I'm sure there won't be given the amount of buildings Statua's putting in it.(If needed, we can talk things over and ICly make arrangements like we did with the clinic and the inn).

I've never actually seen fighting over territory either, but it appears from what Statua said that there will be plenty of room for groups to spread out and take what they like if it's available.

And may I ask how big this map will be? I want it to at least be equal to the size of the current map because I like the current map.

Stat, keep the castle and make it like a hotel like the old castle thingy on the current outlands map. Make it like a safe zone of passive rp and where you pre decide (oocly) who will run it so there is no bitching. Then if someone "attempts to take it" they will be killed by the people who just want it to be a safe zone of passive rp.

But the inn is relatively neutral. But yeah, soon as the server's up I'm claiming an area, or rather when the map changes.

Yes but as it is in the current map, most of the areas are automatically attributed to people. Like the inn, everyone knows the clinic is there, and everyone used to know that the alliance was in the bunker, just like the Crazies base around the lake. They're not permanent, but all the groups are attributed to an area.

I don't think so... it should be available for anyone to use, yes, but it shouldn't be branded a neutral and unownable area right off the bat. And I certainly don't think that the ONE war-appropriate area in the map should be a hotel.

What I mean't by palyerbase agreeing was how we do it now. The Inn in ineu1 is technically available for anyone to claim for their time on the server, however everyone agrees that it's a neutral place. The cottage is the same, however most of the playerbase lets the crazies have it for the sake of rp. The same will apply for ineu2.

Hopefully it all plays out good and there isn't any bitching about the "territory's".
