I started on this project at about noon yesterday and finished it at about 10 a.m. Today. What your looking at is a two channel 2400 watt db amplifier with low and high pass crossover and 2 15" kicker subwoofers. The hardest parts of the whole ordeal was getting through the firewall and splicing the line out converter to the crossover which was built into the trunk. The crossover in the trunk was a bitch because it was I a cage that was too large to be able to fit the subs in so I had to use a dremel tool to cut the metal of the cage. Other than those two tasks all in all it was pretty easy because I am pretty good at wiring.

Very nice but why do you need 2,400 watts of amplification power?

For car stereos you need lots of power if you want a powerful one, There are cars with 30,000 watts of power that can shake up an entire building.

Each of my subs draw a max of 500 watts. 2400 watts leaves plenty of room to add more subs if I ever wanted to.
But right now I have the amp on 25% power and that's enough to hear it in your shower when I drive past your house.
And the car is a Volkswagen Passat sedan 1.8T.
