Hey guys.
Now I've grown tired of my pc and I've got the feeling to throw it out of the window.
So I talked to 2 of my friends, who knows a lot about gamer computers, but I did like to hear what you guy say.
Should it be this one?

Or this one?

Would be nice to hear some opinions. :P

your friends obviously don't know a lot about 'gamer computers' if they're offering you a laptop which - depending on your specs w/ your current pc - would in my eyes be a downgrade. gaming laptops are usually like nuclear reactors on your lap and are a waste of time for gaming because you can't upgrade individual parts, so if your performance isn't as good as you'd like it to be -- then you're fucked and wasted a lot of money.
but if it really was just between those two the asus laptop is very appealing and i'd get that if you really wanted to
also give me your specs for your pc just because
-
she has a laptop to begin with that was purchased for school work

she said pc so i got confused but ok
-
well it really depends what games she wants to play. if its just source games, either of those two are perfectly fine.
-
I would personally go with a PC but I think the second one would be slightly better. In either case you'll have to deal with overheating.
-
Laptop* then, Mr. Perfect. xD I normally call it a pc, since why not? Works the same. :)
Well, I'd like to play some of those new games, possible on high quality. Hell, this pc (Sorry, laptop) lags even in Gmod with nearly the lowest quality. <.<
I've gotten really tired of it and I've always been in bad luck with whatever pc / laptop I buy, which is why I want to know opinions. If you've got any PC then suggest it, I did assume and I'll take a look over it. :P

I wouldn't waste the money buying a laptop, get a desktop.
-
been using the same desktop for over 4 years and just upgrading individual parts, which works great, although i am replacing it this year for something a little better since pretty much everything is kind of outdated.
never tried a laptop for gaming properly except a shitty work laptop my mum used to have which lagged like crazy which threw me away from laptops really. I'd definitely recommend a desktop instead, the new pc i'm getting is around £300 which I don't think is anywhere near the laptops you suggested (at least 1k) and they'll get outdated pretty quick considering you won't be able to upgrade it without buying another 1.5k gaming laptop.
For the actual desktop yourself, I'd get someone to build it for you and buy individual parts or buy a pre-owned desktop in good condition because those are usually cheap too, most desktops in stores are p.expensive.
-
Getting a laptop that can properly run new games at high graphics can easily cost you up to $1400
Get a desktop, they're much better. And cheaper, for what you get.
-
build a desktop and keep the laptop for whatever you need it for

She linked the Asus G75VW. Which is the republic of gamers laptop. Really good specs in it and well worth the 1600+.
I'd say get the ASUS laptop.
-
ASUS has always been quality. I TA'd for my school's Tech Admin, and he once worked at a computer repair shop. He would always tell me that for all the time that he worked there, not once was an ASUS brought in.
-
for the price of either of those laptops, you can easily build a better desktop and have 6x the performance or so of either of the laptops.
But if you really want a laptop, get the Asus.

Thinking both back and forth and I've came up with the deciscion, to buy myself a stationary pc.
Seemingly a lot of you tends to suggest a PC, instead of a laptop I went to search for a good one.
I've spoken around with my contacts (Yet again and came up with this pc, I might be getting on monday:
