Title: A serious problem
Post by: putin on May 29, 2011, 10:28:28 PM
I need to do an essay and general school work but my addiction to gaming is in my way. How can I concentrate on schoolwork and get rid of my urge to game?

Actually this thread is where it should be.

Also like RTLK said, delete Gmod for a bit. If you truly are addicted then i suggest you seek some help.

Add a timer to your computer that only allows you to use it for a few hours a day

To be honest...I dont think he would do any of this. If he is so addicted it would be SO HARD to do anything like, delete Gmod....Get a virus so the computer cant start...Add a timer etc...The only way to stop his addiction is to do it from another person, like ban him for a couple of weeks or so. In my oppinion thats the only way to stop his addiction. (if its only OCRP hes having trouble with ofc)

Thats not a bad idea tbh.

Would you like us to ban you for a few week or so Bobika?

Thank you. Yes, its probably the ONLY idea.
I also think it will be very hard for him to say "sure" because...you know....Get banned from the most awsome community ever, hard thing to live with, heh

Hehe, I can see it infront of me when I check the ban log (which I do daily, lol)

"Bobika banned for 4 weeks, reason "Doesn't want to be here"

NOTE!: I'm not saying I want him to get banned which it may seem :D
