Hi guys, recently I have found a fix to the dark screen on Mac.

lua_run_cl GAMEMODE.RenderScreenspaceEffects = function() end

^
Just type it in whenever you join and it stops the effect.


nevermind doesn't seem to work on your hl2rp servers

It does not work on our servers because we have scriptenforcer activated, therefore no code you put into lua_run_cl will be executed.
Perhaps someone can make this into console command for HL2RP, so people can use it still?

Ah well, I'm glad I helped, I have been using it on the HL2RP server I play on, I came here in '11 trying to play but due to the screen it didn't work x3
