Title: Problem with joining servers on Garry's Mod
Post by: A Dark Tree on August 18, 2012, 05:12:01 PM
So pretty much, everytime I join an online server on Garry's Mod, I get this error, "CMDL: Cache Out of Memory" a while back I had that error and to fix it, I followed the steps below.
1: Steam < Library < Garry's Mod (from steam menu)
2: Right click on Garry's Mod and go to Properties
3: Go to the Local Files tab
4: Verify Integrity of Game Cache...
5: After that is done, Defragment Cache Files
After I followed those steps I was able to join servers on gmod, but this time around I'm unable to join servers after those steps, and I don't know what to do. :/

Please help.

Computer specs would really help.
Because it seems like you have issues with your RAM. Maybe you have to much programs open at the same time? Or your RAM stick broke?

I fixed the problem.  I had to uninstall then re-install Garry's Mod.  I wish to say thanks to Crap-Head and Nicknero for your help.
