Hey, I was wondering on some stuff since i'm New to hl2rp.
1. Can the weather change at all or is it always muggy?
2. Can regular people have guns? besides combine?
3. How long untill are are allowed to make another application for combine.

First of all this is in the wrong area...
We have no weather mod so no.
Yes, but those people are in outlands and the ones in city get theirs by minge killing units and that results in a hefty ban.
Two or one week, I do not remember.

To give you the right answers:
1. Weather is build in the map, so it will always be the same.
2. Anyone could get guns, but getting one legitly in the city is going to be impossible, so honestly don't bother trying.
3. It's stated in the information threads in the applications section, and usually the person who denied your applications tells you when you can retry. But it's usually a week.
(Don't forget that you have some requirements you need to meet such as certain post count before you apply.)

The best thing in my opinion about HL2RP is the lack of guns. No need to worry about being shot up; you can live peacefully.
Stop worrying about guns and scare about RP :)

Oh, One more question. Can slave vorts be set free? I have seen a few lately,but can't go past the nexus line to say hi. If they can Once they are free can they shoot lightning like The ones in HL2?

You can find freed vortigaunts in district six and outlands on occasion.

it's not lighting, it's vortessence or something (vorti's aren't really my thing)
and as far as I know it requires some sort of IC knowledge before you can set them free - I assume slaved ones are using combine tech which wouldn't be easy to take off of them

They can use the vortessence (lightning) to attack things, however it's not scripted into the game so you wont actually OOCly see them using it.

Vortigaunts use the vortessence in which resembles lightning but abit more stronger. It can pierce some types of armour but not all. Also, humans cannot free them since they are locked up with Combine technology.

Vortessence hurts. 100% would recommend to not make one upset.

But in all seriousness, yes you can get a gun, but the chances of you getting one are 1,234,253,225,644,246,865:1
It WOULD be pretty cool if there was weather and time changing in the game, maybe corresponding to the time IRL.
