Title: Coding/Programming: Complete 110% noob
Post by: EmperorDisasster on June 10, 2012, 04:05:05 PM: Yeah, I wants to get into coding or programming so I downloaded MySQL... The thing is, I don't know anything about it... not the language, not even loosely what it's about it. Please answer my plea and halp me... :(

Post by: Martinerrr on June 10, 2012, 04:09:46 PM: I suggest before you try to work around with SQL Language to start with HTML, then CSS then PHP and then finally SQL.

The languages are a little bit based off of each other.

I personally suggest working with python, it's an excellent beginners language and is extremely powerful.

w3schools.com is great, too. I just like that codecademy walks one through it and builds a nice foundation :)

It helped me with Java, even some basic HTML.
