Hey, i'm confused on why the OOC time is now almost a minute now. I can see how it would cut down spam, but it makes responding gaps kind of long.
Anyone got some answers?
Also, sorry if this double posted. I checked the forum rules before I posted and may or may not have posted twice.

People need to stop whining about OOC being used a lot and simply turn it off instead of everyone else having to take the "punishment" for talking to people.
Seriously, there is a disable OOC button in Settings.

Yea, that is right, you can turn off OOC in general if you do not want to see it.

Yeah, but that also disables LOOC, which is a lot, a lot more useful than the god damn OOC chat where people just say random shit not even related to the server/game.

Yeah, its kind of rediculas, but I think if was changed to 20 seconds today, which is much beter

Seriously, people need to stop whining about it as others have said above. One community of RPers I was apart of had an OOC limit of like, 400+ or so. You don't need OOC messages to live in HL2RP.

First: Next time someone says "DURR JUS TURN EET OFF IN SETTINGS NUUB" I'm going to rip off their head and shit down their neck cause it turns off ALL form of OOC including PM's and LOOC which are used by administrators and other players to discuss important matters.
Second: If you want to have a conversation, use PM's. Don't be chatting in OOC. OOC would be good for saying hello or asking the ENTIRE server a question. Nobody cares about your kill streak in Black Ops or your first time having sex. We have forums for a reason. IMO OOC should be at LEAST 120 seconds. Then people might learn not to use it so often.

This I fully agree with.
Either make OOC disable global OOC only or just set the limit even higher.

Yep, this has happened to me so many times that I've stopped playing for weeks.

I've played on HL2RP where the global OOC is completely disabled to regular users, and it worked out perfectly fine. I think the time should be set higher.

This reply is a test. It absolutely means nothing, remove it whenever. This isn't so I can get into the CCA, I've already got more than enough posts and I've already got a CCA character. So, generally, I don't care about this reply because I'm testing signature images. So no epic troll flame.
