That was meant to be the fact I am the master of Ineu Pass, not the master of all maps...

Just from that ONE shed I can tell you're a better map artist than me T.T
I've been working on a TTT map for awhile now perhaps you could give me some advice on how to improve my abilities? It's an abstract map composed of floating islands in a black void, more of a horror themed map. The idea, I think, is awesome, but the execution of it...
Let's just say I need to learn better technique with hammer.
Here are a few links to screenshots of the map (Currently still in development, considering I started work on it recently.)
Appreciated if you could give me a few tips that could help me improve my skill ^^

Not so hard to make a little shed like that... Let's count, it should take about 9 brushes? 3 for the wall with door in it. 3 for the other 3 walls. 1 brush to create a triangle to finish both sides of the wall. 2 brushes to create the roof.
Give it a little texture, and you're done. ^^

I meant in general about mapping, seeing as you seem like a pretty good authority on the subject were I to try and find one.
