Here's a little poetry I came up with today. Hopefully it might come in use for some of you guys in an English class or something. Please note that the sonnets DON'T follow the rules and most of the haiku's don't follow the traditional form, anyways. Here goes the poetry, the only thing I'm good at in the English Curriculum:
Forced Papers
Forcibly written,
Making students sad, upset,
Writing blank faces.
An Excuse
When writing a paper,
It is frowned upon.
It really is bitter,
When it was due anon.
Playing Donkey Kong,
People have fun.
Others played Pong,
They're all done.
The time has passed,
The family is glad.
It was half-assed,
The student is sad.
The paper is written,
The dog has bitten.
A Grand Piano
It was Ebony,
It always has Ivory,
The piano keys.
Magic Trick
It really is tragic,
The crowd in awe.
Might it be magic,
What they all saw.
The cops are abound,
There weren't any ducks.
Everyone went all around,
It was only bucks.
Filed missing were all,
The thing was black.
Only was a ball,
Guy was a quack.
The bank was robbed,
The bodies have bobbed.
The Passing of Time
A plum blossom fell,
The tree limbs creek for the time,
Fall has arrived.
Who?
A smooth blue box,
A witty, tall, mystery,
The doctor stands.
Banjo and Kazooie
A bear and bird fly,
Red bird, brown bear, blue back-pack,
Grunty is angry.
Stone Demons
Calm and collective,
Cold and motionless, they come,
The Weeping Angels.
Winter
White and fluffy,
Soft and cold to you,
The snow glistens now.

Very good..

Are you good a freestyle? You seem like you would be. Nice poem, good rhymes. Actually makes sense too. Good work.

A little more poetry. Came up with these and finished today. Hope you enjoy.
Creepers
Green and explosive,
Mysterious and creepy,
Hissing and sizzling.
Laundry
People had a ball,
They all had awe.
They were about to fall,
Like they broke the law.
The stage was set,
The people panted like a dog.
They all took a bet,
Writing up on their blog.
They all hear “ding”,
They stand and cheer.
They entered the ring,
The screaming was sheer.
The boxers wrestled.
The rest settled.

you like to do haikus?

you like to do haikus?
Meh, they're easy to do, even if you break the tradition of them being for nature; like my Creeper Haiku above your post XD. But I really like to do any kind of poetry, it's just that limericks have become a bit harder to come up with. Main reason I've been doing all these though is cause I'm in a Creative Writing class with 3 deadlines that are 500 points each: 80+ lines of poetry, 2000+ words of fiction, and 1000+ words of non-fiction. Thought the poetry would be the easiest to do and be done with, especially since I have to play the violin part for the musical You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. But really guys, this isn't a thread of my poetry alone. Let out your own inner creativity and share with the community. Or just plagiarize off of those that post their poetry for your own English poetry assignments. :P
Edit: managed to get another poem in with the help of a friend yesterday. Damn though, it sounds sorta like a Nickelback song really, I mean, just look at the title. Anyways, here it is, the last of the poems I needed for at least 80 lines of poetry:
Stone Cold Drunk Love
You tend to defile what I gave to you,
I wanted to make you mine, but you were.
You said that you really wanted it too,
I grasped the concept for you were ere.
Like the hammer forged for the god, Thor,
I am calm before I make a large storm.
My heart aches for you are endless, therefore,
I ask that you gaze at my wilted form.
My body asks that I get you back,
My heart will beat twice as fast for now.
If I do not get you back, I will yak,
Pain is excruciating, I yell “yow!”
My beard is much more like an unkept lawn,
My life is not the same with you now gone.
EDIT II: Made some more for my poetry deadline, totals up to 94 lines now when I only needed 80. Anyways, here it is:
Spring Tides
The flowers blooming,
The air so sweet and secure,
A sweet, fresh season.
Summer Break
The children abound,
The grass green, the sun shining,
The pool is filled.
Fall
The leaves wither, die,
They fall to oblivion,
They become crushed.
Hells' Agent
There was once a boy; Joe,
Nobody wanted as a foe,
He bound them in binds,
He blew out their minds,
They were going far down below.
(Please note that the last line isn't perverted, I know your mind was there; it was to mean they're going to Hell, hence the title Hells' Agent)
