Title: Head set/headphones
Post by: The Doctor, RIP Juggernaut on April 15, 2013, 09:43:32 AM
Old set just blew out(RIP), I need to replace them with either headphones and a mic(Can be cheap, I don't care at this point) or a decent headset. All for around 50 bucks(Hard limit)

I would say don't bother buying a headset and just go for the headphones and a cheap 20 dollar mic but since your budget is so small you should probably just get something shitty that still sounds alright. I would suggest something like this. (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B1KJK22/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&keywords=pc%20headset&qid=1366046082&sr=8-4) Pretty much any cheap headset like this would be good for temporary use but if you grab it or something like it, don't plan on it lasting too long. I went through at least four of those 20-40 dollar headsets a couple of years ago when I didn't have enough money to actually get something decent and long lasting. I realized that if you want something that won't break extremely easy you've gotta go at least $50 or up. They don't sound bad, something for this price should last you until you have enough to upgrade if you plan on it.

You can't ever go wrong with a decent Logitech headset, I have only ever really used Logitech headsets and I think they are great.
