Title: Recliners that can fit in a desk
Post by: rBST Cow on October 24, 2014, 09:37:02 PM
Basically, I'm looking for some sort of a recliner that would still allow me to fit my fit under the desk. I don't have a SmartTV so my only way to watch netflix is on my phone or computer, and I choose my computer. Sitting in a shitty office chair(it's a really really shitty one that I think I found in the trash) isn't comfortable when watching TV/netflix so being able to have a nice comfy recliner would be great. If any of yall know of some good "compact" recliners, please tell me so I can look into them. Thanks.

Uhhhh, You could just hook your tv to a HDMI?

Or how about buying a Chromecast (http://www.google.co.uk/chrome/devices/chromecast/) and plugging it into your TV? You need an Android phone/tablet for it to work but if you have one it will pretty much turn your TV into a Smart TV with much better apps than what you would normally get on a TV.

Edit: Turns out you can use pretty much any smartphone/computer/laptop to control it.

Why not get a big comfy office chair? I have one and use it for lounging when watching tv/movies. Make sure you can tip it back and lock the tipping (most chairs do this already) . A recliner is a pain in the ass when gaming. Use your old office chair as a foot rest when you're lounging.

Any recommendations? Currently I have been looking into these:

I could see how it'd be annoying gaming with them, but that's why I was thinking of getting something like the couchmaster.

Anyways, I really just want something where I can sit at my desk and be comfortable. My current chair is really shitty because it only has back support, the arm rests are really shitty, and it doesn't recline very well. There's no head/neck support or anything. What do you have?

Idk what it is. Got it for Christmas. Good enough to sit my ass on for 12h during a mad mapping sesh. It's got Springs in the seat. Arm rests move up down in out and the tops rotate a bit. When you lean back, the whole chair tips back but never falls over. You can lock it too. And if course it spins and moves up and down. I'll post a pic when i get home.

I recommend getting a chair with wheels so you can move about as needed. Unless you're on carpet. Then it doesn't matter.

When i watch movies i either just chill on the chair with my feet on it and lean back, or i prop my feet up on my old office chair and lean back  either way, I've fallen asleep comfortably on it Lmao
