1) Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs OOC'ly detailing why your character wishes to join the Metropolice Force and what lead your character to do so.
During the time Jack Bandy spent walking around C18 he had no sense of direction or anything specific to do, he needed a reason to live on. So, he saw a poster detailing how to sign up to the MPF, which is what he though about doing. The amount of time Bandy stood there staring into the piece of paper bared no mind, and so he walked away, not turning around.

Walking back to his apartment, Bandy sat down on his bed and thought about joining "I mean why not? I have nothing else to do, I have plenty of experience in that field. Well, pretty much at least." So, he sat and thought for the next few hours, until he decided to stare out the window... Again. Staring into the cold, dreary street, noticing the contrast of everything being gray. Still pondering upon applying he retreats to sleep.

And so, Bandy awoke, he made up his mind, he had decided to utilise the skills he had gained during his life by applying for the MPF, and so he did. Walking down the stairs he thought of what he will gain, the team work and team building exercises he will be part of.. Permitting he was accepted in. The way he will learn many new traits and be able to make sure citizens get on with their lives without messing anything up.

3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character.
IC'ly - Jack Bandy will gain many traits in life, the ability to assess situations quickly, a fighting edge against anti citizens. He will also be part of a team, a Union to say, that will allow him to utilize life skills to aid the advancement of the Union. He will also be able to do what he does best, keep people in check and ensure that they do not go against the law.

OOC'ly - I will be able to utilize the skills I gained previously from being in the CCA/MPF. I will also get an edge on my writing capabilities as being in the MPF will require me to use proper English and clear, understandable /me's. I will also enjoy the experience of having some of the best RP moments.

4) Please provide a detailed back-story from an out-of-character perspective on your applying character. This section must be detailed and consist of a minimum of 300 words.
As a child, Jack Bandy himself was a quiet, rule following child who never strayed from the good side. He was easy to get along with and easy to like. He had made a various amount of friends by the time he was in his early teens. As a teenager, Bandy was an active, sporting person who thoroughly enjoyed a good game of rugby. Due to that he gained many friends, which to him were the most important things to have.

When Jack hit the age of twenty he decided to help his community the best he could so he enlisted into his local neighbourhood watch, the only thing he always wanted to do basically, and after a while he soon found himself looking at society in another way. He saw the corruption inside of people, and the despair in others. He strived to ensure the law was exactly followed by everyone in his community, and due to his specific set of skills in doing this he became the head of his local neighbourhood watch, and he ensured that everyone who was in the watch knew exactly how to react to every situation that was put to them, including gang violence, drug use and helping the younger generation.

When the Combine invaded Jack was on a trip with his parents to the south of England, he was on the main road, which was packed with traffic when a thunderous boom echoed through the skies and flaming objects came down like hail on a winter’s night. The first sights of the Combine was of a Strider walking up the main road firing upon cars and people, instinctively, Jack ran into a ditch and lay down, covering his ears and eyes. Many hours later an APC pulled up, and out of it came three hulking ‘thing’ in white armour “Citizens, come out of your hiding places if you are alive. This is your only chance.” The monotonous, metallic voices were enough to send you out anyways, and out came around 17 citizens.

After a process where they were all given ID cards and sufficient supplies Bandy was sent on a train to City 18, where he saw the need of MPF units. He sought out to apply, and so he did. And now he waits for the reply.

Yes - It was removed due to my own RP'ing of her going mentally unstable (Shellshock of C45 and other things)

"Jerome get yo lazy ass up and get to school right now!" The shout echoed through the two bedroom house "Righto pa. I'll be down in a minute or two." Jerome lazily replied "No... You'll be up in a minute flat. I won't have my son being slow even if you have just woke up." Jerome's father replied back in a quick shout. After quickly placing on his checkered shirt and blue ripped jeans Jerome headed down to the kitchen to enjoy his breakfast.

After a quick breakfast Jerome happily grabbed his bag and walked to school. Whilst walking to school he thought to himself "So my pa is expecting me to fulfill what my family have always done, join the army. Like my grandfather and my great grandfather he wants me to join up too, and I shall. " He thought this to himself all the way to school. Arriving at the main gates Jerome realized he was 15 minutes late and so he headed straight to the gym facility. Plopping his bag down next to the weights Jerome picked up a heavy weight and tested it by holding it above his head and then carefully letting it fall to his knees and then back up, he repeated this movement with both arms many times. 14 minutes after starting, the bell rang and Jerome headed straight to first class which was math, Jerome was not the best at maths but "Hell, who is?" He thought to himself. Once arriving in the class his teacher announced to them all that they had maths twice, right now and straight after.

Jerome lazily walked out of the math class as soon as it finished with his friend Robert, Robert was Jerome's only and closest friend, and always would be til Jerome joined the forces. Even though Robert and Jerome talked a lot, Jerome still wanted to be alone so he could concentrate more, so after a hasty "I have to go be somewhere." Jerome walked straight back to his den... The Gym to lift more weights. After school Jerome decided he would take the long way home, even if that meant heading straight past the Tiffans. The Tiffans are a family of Racists that constantly roam the streets surrounding their home, and because of this Jerome is reluctant to be heading that way.

Walking down the last alley of the street Jerome noticed the man trailing after him, Jerome picked up the pace and continued walking down the alley when suddenly the bloke behind him shouted out "Ey nigger boy, what you doin' outta yo cotton field?" Jerome slowly turned around as the young Tiffan laughed "Yeah nigger boy, I asked that and I know how much you hate bein' called a nigger... Nigger." The Tiffan said the last word slower than the rest just to add more impact onto Jerome "Excuse me... I think you're Jimmy right? Jimmy Tiffan? If so, please just go home. I don't want to get in a fight." "I don't want to get in a fight." The Jimmy repeated the sentence in a high pitched voice and then he lunged for Jerome, and started punching, kicking and shouting. Fists flew and blood danced on the walls as the two exchanged hits, even though Jerome worked out he had forgot all that and just went into defend mode, allowing the Tiffan to rain down on his arms and lower body till the Tiffan tired and had to stop and then he did, with a quick moment Jerome let his guard down and started to punch Jimmy in the chest, jaw and head repeatedly. This went on until a man walked past and shouted "You! Yes you! Leave that boy alone. NOW!" Without any hesitation Jerome ran the fuck away back to his home to explain what happened.

"Jerome, fighting aint the smartest of things ok? Now then, because of this I have taken up the choice to send you to military school." Jerome was edgy when his father was speaking, the tone his dad used was both stern but calm, his mother though said nothing, she just nodded with what his father said. And after the talk Jerome retired to his room.

Trains, planes and buses were what got Jerome to his new home at Military school the place he would soon call his life and home for many years to come. He was 15 and nearly ready to join the actual army so his first few weeks were physical and mental tests, Drills and workouts, speeches from veterans and the such, shooting practice was also done weekly. The drills were tough and pushed your body to the limit, one of the drills involved you and 5 others picking up a log thighs deep in water and hoisting it above your head, then you have to hold it above your head for 5 minutes. Shooting practice was fun and also easy to adjust to "Martinéz, keep your right foot twisted to the right and keep put it behind your left foot as if walking with a bent foot, click off the safety and fire three rounds down the range." Just as the words left Sgt. Ramone's Jerome did as he was asked, adjusting his stance he aimed down the sights of the M4A1, clicked off the safety and shot three rounds down the range, one hit the target in the head and the other two hit the chest "Good shot Martinéz, keep it up." After the shooting practice came physical workouts and hand to hand. Physical involved 100 pushups then 100 sit ups then back to 100 push ups then 20 sit ups, H2H however mainly involved blocking and attack and then using the butt stock of your gun to bat your enemy away so you have room to fire off a shot or three, or maybe a clip? This was Jerome's new life and his body was getting stronger by the day. After spending a couple of years in Military School Jerome enlisted up fully and was happier than ever, and in peak physical shape also.

Several years in the military had made Jerome accustomed to poor living conditions and severe situations, he joined up in 1995 at the age of 16 and was now 19. The year was 2001 and Jerome was stationed out in Iraq. He had been there for a little while and had already been shot at whilst on many patrols, he was one of the first in his group to kill an insurgent and was, that night subjected to a drinking challenge with his friends. This was his dream, to live and breathe the army. He loved it, the training, drills, routines and the action. The rush of adrenaline was a feeling all the men there loved. That moment when you feel immortal and don't feel pain. The moment when you are with your squad and you take fire, the moment you return fire and the moment when you realize your situation and you come back to full senses. That was a craving all the men there had. The training Jerome was doing was advanced survival training and also advanced hand to hand. He was not the best of his friends at Hand to hand but he picked up some tricks and soon improved, still not the best but he was still a good fighter none the less. Whilst out on a patrol his squad was hit with an RPG shot. The shrapnel tore through the men at the front and straight after the shot a flurry of AK47's fired off. Volley after volley of bullets ripped the air apart. The sound of whizzing bullets was enough for the men to realize they had to run, and run they did. Whilst running to a ditch no more than three meters away Jerome was hit in the back of the leg by a stray AK shot. The shot ripped through his skin and bone and sent pieces of his knee cap into his squad mates in front of him. Whilst in the ditch Jerome applied as much pressure as he could to the wound as a Humvee turned up and sent .50 shots down the street. The sight of such a powerful weapon was amazing and the way that the rounds ripped the walls apart was astonishing. But Jerome was more worried about his blown out knee cap.

Many hours in surgery Jerome was sent back to America where he was treated. A knee replacement was placed in and Jerome had to learn how to use his leg without damaging it further. He spent a couple of months in hospital and two years with personal care. He spent his time adapting to his new ailment and the yearning to rejoin the Army. That can't happen now he though to himself over and over again. After many years in his one bed roomed apartment he decided he was heading out to a new place. A place of peace and serenity. So Jerome went on down to a shop with postcards and closed his eyes. He spun the card rack once and picked up card as it was spinning. On the card was a mountain village in Romania. The place had a small cave you could live in. He payed for the card and headed straight to book a plane for Romania. The mountain village was close to a farm which the locals used to farm wheat and vegetables. There was also a small river with fish in it. Fresh berries and nuts were also known to grow there. These berries were safe to eat, as were the nuts and would give you enough protein to last. Jerome walked back to his one bed roomed apartment to sift through his personal belongings, whilst looking he came across his old kevlar vest, the desert camo was still fresh and he placed it into his suitcase carefully with his other clothing and misc items whilst saying "Well, this is coming with me, and so is the knife." And then departed fir the air port. On arriving to the airport he went through all the procedures and had to go through some extra work with the knife, due to it being a lethal weapon and such, after the hassle and showing that it was safe in his bag he boarded the plane.

After arriving at Romania he got a horse drawn cart up to the small mountain village. After arriving at the village he was shown to the cave he would be living in for many years to come. The place was small enough for him to bear and he was given a tour of the village and left to his own devices. Whilst living there he started to do self reflection times where he would sit for two hours a day thinking of nothing except what he had done with his life. His knee was a big problem though when it came to coming down the mountain so he stayed up in his cave with nothing except the village people and his memories. His vest though he wore everyday just so he could remember his happiest days in the Army.

A loud bang came over head as many metal object flew out of the sky and landed in the ground. The metal things landed no where near the mountain village so Jerome left it be and stayed up in his cave for days. He later learned two days later that Earth was took over within 7 hours, gobsmacked Jerome went down the mountain to fish and noticed the emptiness. No people or fishers were out just Jerome and some of the villagers. Jerome did however go on with his life of fishing and cave dwelling mainly because he had learned the truth of what had happened as many refugees came through heading to a place called Inue valley. He did however see many things in the sky, storms of a such, explosions in the distance as cities fell and also the weird aliens that passed through the small village, they were named Xen.

The year was 2015 when the earth had fallen and now it was 2018. Jerome had spent the years since the earth fell to gather his bearing and scout around the village, many of the people fled to see their families but Jerome stayed, still wondering how the earth fell in such a short time. After many years living in the cave off of fish and fruits. Jerome was stilling residing in the cave next to the village and he saw the odd helicopter like device fly past, the people he lived with wandering off regularly and most never came back at all but Jerome went out and scouted the area around the village, what he found was a small settlement built around a ravine. There was a bridge heading to what looked like an Inn. As Jerome watched day in and day out he decided to head on down to the small town soon. He worked out whilst waiting his time and continued to eat the nuts, berries and fish. His knee was becoming no weaker or stronger and that had made him happy, knowing his knee was not going to fuck up on him on his climb down.


What will these authorizations give your character in regards to perks or defects?
Perks
An ex-military character named Jerome Martinéz;
This will enable me to RP as an ex-soldier. You will think that this will be like "I am an ex soldier so take me in and I will fight for you yada bladah" But it won't. It'll go more along the lines of "I have seen many things but I don't want any trouble. I only wish to live and work."

Fake Knee
The knee itself can be used to deliver brute force and also if someone tries to stab it the blade will only get stuck in the fake body part.

Military skills e.g. Basic hand to hand, weapon training and survival tactics.
These skills will be what he will need to survive in the harsh areas of the valley. The military training alone will have pushed him hard so he will be able to take a bit of punishment. But not too much as that would be over powered. The survival tactics will allow him to basically be able to make filters, shelter, fire, what is safe and not safe to eat, how to make small bath out of a running river/lake.

Military kevlar vest with a standard issue knife.
The vest will provide protection against the odd 9mm bullet at a medium range, at short it would still have force behind it. also some melee weapons. The knife will be a way of gutting the fish he catches and a tool to use against people if they try to kill him.

Defects
Hardly socializing
The fact that he has lived in the mountains for so long will go against him as the only people he lived around spoke hardly any English so he will be talking with the first English speaking people in a long time. It will also be hard to socialize again after being out of society for so long.

Fake knee
This will be a problem when doing long distance running and climbing. He can climb yes, but not for a long period of time. The knee also plays up sometimes causing him to have to sit down.

The Vest
Vest: Well, people will want a kevlar vest for more safety and comfort. It will also make him stand out as it is a desert camo one.

What do you plan to do with these perks/defects?
I plan to RP as an ex-soldier as I have seen no one RP as this before.
It'll also be fun to have to RP out the injury on Jerome's knee, having to deal with that will be a tricky one and also a fun part as I can also start talking with people with medical skills.

~~~School Years  1985~~~

During school Bandy's father would pester him to come to the garage with him on weekends for some experience. After many months he caved in and went down to the garage. After many months of going to the garage which his father owned Bandy became quite the enthusiast in mechanics, he also started to help around the shop.

Whilst in the shop Bandy's father showed him how to fix the basics in a car like window wipers and that sort of thing. This kinda stuff interested Bandy enough to take up coming to the garage regularly. Soon after he started coming Bandy's dad started teaching him more advanced mechanics which Bandy kept on learning till he was in  his late 20's.

~~~Many years later~~~

"Bandy, get the car parts back in from the Post Office."
"Well, another day in the shop" Bandy though to himself. Walking out of the garage where his father used to work, Bandy walked down the street to collect the new oil filters and fan belts. Walking into the overly familiar post office Bandy browsed the many cards advertising places in the world, one shows a place in the mountains "I wonder what life in such a place is like."

~~~12 hours later~~~

After collecting the parts, Bandy finished up in the shop fixing up the Toyota Celica that was shipped in from Japan. New filters and fan belts was a simple enough job but Bandy treat it like any other job, with care and precaution. Ensuring all was well Bandy was happy and left.
After walking back to the garage Bandy placed the parts on the bench over head and start working on the car. Popping the hood of the car he takes the old engine out and starts working on it. Cleaning off all the rust and adding in the new fan belt he carefully put it back in place and screwed all the pipes in. After doing all this he lifted the car up with the car lift and start to replace the oil tubes. He starts off with unscrewing the pipe, allowing oil to spill out, the oil of course is fairly dirt and useless. The new pipe is placed in and tightened in. After lowering the car Bandy moves back to the hood and checks on the oil levels. The levels come out empty and the left oil is dirty as shit. Taking a new bottle of oil he replaces it and makes sure all is swell.
"Another job done." Bandy happily thought.

~~~7 hour war | 2015~~~

Bandy was busy in the shop working on the old Celica which was never picked up. The oil pipes had busted open so he was replacing them, along with a new engine at the same time. Many years had passed since he had passed all his mechanic school work and he was now a fully fledged mechanic with his own shop "Followin' in the old mans footsteps like he wanted." Bandy always thought that when he thought of his late father who died in 1998. After finishing with the cars engine he got up and stretched and whilst doing so a thunderous BOOM shattered the windows around him, glass flew allover the place but none striking Bandy. After the initial shock had passed Bandy went outside to see what was happening, after stepping outside he only saw hell. Just hell on earth. People all over the place screaming and crying, many pointing to the sky in awe as millions of lights flooded the night sky. Just mere minutes after the lights were saw a massive metallic object struck a ship in the docks near Bandy's garage, the metal object seemed to open as what would later be referred as SYNTH came out, destroying the ship and all near it.

~~~ 10 hours later ~~~

"Ok, Fox one has Dog two covered. Commander Burg has you lot ready to head into the town center for extract!" Just after the soldier finished, Bandy and many other citizens were sent off to be picked up by a heli squad. All Bandy knew was that some sort of alien race had captured earth in 7 hours and that small pockets of people were still being evacuated to the mountain ranges of earth. After several hours of frantic driving the truck was stopped by a gunshot from a roadblock ahead, the driver was shot right in the head, the wound getting cauterize instantly.  The shooter popped out from behind the cover and instant fear ran through all in the truck. After several minutes of waiting all military personal were executed on the spot by the things in white. Bandy was only concentrated on one thing, getting the fuck away.

~~~ 1 day after attack ~~~

"Bandy, the convoy of APC's will be struck soon enough, just hold tight man." the radio instantly clicking off as one of Bandy's friends tapped him on the shoulder.
Bandy had many friends, some crazy and some normal. But the one he had just talked too was military personal and was planning on stopping the Overwatch transport from taking the citizens to a new city. After the OTA soldiers loaded the people up an RPG shot was sent flying into the general direction of the front APC. Several minutes of shock was all Bandy needed, he hopped out of the seat and ran straight to the bank of the road and hid.

~~~ 30 mins later ~~~

Bandy got up from the hole to see a mass of dead soldiers and OTA. The first thing that came to mind was check for living, but he went against that and set off cautiously to his garage to collect his backpack of tools and his custom made manual on how to build and repair vehicles more efficiently. Running was a thing Bandy was avoiding but in the end he succumbed to an urge of excitement as he drew close to his garage, but whilst running he failed to notice the person trailing him from behind. Badumph was the first sound he heard when he opened the garage door, and instantly the overhead lights flickered to life. Bandy was so happy that he ignored all other things and went straight for his tool backpack and his personal diary. The person trailing him came into the garage after him but hit a wrench whilst coming in, Bandy turned around instantly to see the man in the dark clothes holding a knife up "Yo buddy, gimme all your money and that backpack and you live." The thug said in a shitty G accent
"Well, this is interesting. Give me a second. I'll get you a drink." "No y'won't. You'll sit down and listen to what I want or you'll get got."
So Bandy stood there, waiting "Right then, I want your backpack and that money you have."
So Bandy plopped the backpack onto the floor and the money then stepped back. Whilst stepping back the thug surged forward and opened up the backpack and lost all interest in his surroundings. This was all that Bandy needed, grabbing a large wrench he clubbed the thug over the head, thus ending his tail.

~~~ 5 mins later ~~~

The thug was no more and Bandy had killed a person.
"This aint fuckin' good at all." Bandy thought to himself. So he left after several minutes of frantic thinking.

~~~ 7 hours later ~~~

Bandy woke up from the small hut on the docks and headed straight for a boat,  map in hand. After getting in the working boat he searched for and picked a specific place, inue. Many days at sea and many nights alone Bandy updated his diary with more ways to fix and upgrade vehicles and also with the current events. He spent days thinking of what happened and of all his friends he may or may have not lost. Those poor souls in the military who are now dead and so on so forth. He pulled out his welders mask from the backpack and studied it, he felt the edges and stared into the black eye guard. He carefully placed the mask back into the front pouch of his backpack and went back to sleep at sea for the last time time.

~~~ Years later ~~~

Bandy had made it to Inue, the place was quite different than what he was most used to. He had been there for a good few years, the last time he checked it was 2015 so it was around 2018 now. He had kept himself to himself and kept on reading his notes over. And keeping himself fed on berries and nuts and also fish from the waters. Bandy has readied himself to try and help people.
"This is for the thug I killed." He thought one night as he stared at the moon and set off to try and help people.

What will these authorizations give your character in regards to perks or defects?
Perks
Mechanical Skills - There are people out there who would like a mechanic and it will also be a good new RP type of thing for me.

Backpack with basic tools and a custom diary - These will supply him with the ways and knowledge to do his job. The diary will have all of his life noted and custom ways to mend and customize vehicles.

Defects
Backpack - This will make him stand out from most people and may make him a target for robbery. With the tools in, it will also weigh him down more and stop him from being to run fast.

Diary - The diary will be his most prized possession so if people found out about that they may want to take it. It'll also have to be kept dry.

Paranoia - Even though it was now explained in the backstory, Bandy has paranoia from being in the Outlands. This makes talking to people harder than usual.

What do you plan to do with these perks/defects?
The auth will be used to help out in the Outlands with stuff either broken in events or stuff that occurs RP'ly that requires these skills. With what I have planned for Bandy he will need these skills to gain a future.

My first attempt at a story in a while. Please give me feedback on how to improve and ideas are good. The next part I am currently working on so expect that soon.

Before "Revolution" 2200 hours.

As UU.OTA.RAVEN-1.99089 entered the dimly lit room two more OTA soldiers followed her. UU.OTA.RAVEN-1.99089 stopped with the other two OTA in front of a tall, metal, door. They stood there for five minutes waiting to be allowed entry and as they waited a the audible voice of Dispatch could be heard speaking "Join the Union today for upgraded life and benefits. Union, Justice, Law." UU.OTA.RAVEN-1.99089 listened to the familiar broadcast and just ignored it when suddenly the tall door opened and the SeC walked briskly out from the meeting, the OTA moved in instantly and stood in front of a long desk awaiting to be spoken too.

Operation "Hell Storm"

UU.OTA.RAVEN-1.99089 shouted to the Overwatch soldiers <:: Get down! Prepare for Fire storm strike." As soon as she finished her sentence an overwhelming BANG! shuddered the earth at UU.OTA.RAVEN-1.99089's feet and a massive blaze of fire swept up around the Resistance held town. UU.OTA.RAVEN-1.99089 got up from behind the wall she was covering behind and slowly walked, AR2 in hand towards her squad <:: RAVEN, gather up and prep for briefing." All around her five Overwatch Soldiers ran towards UU.OTA.RAVEN-1.99089 and stood awaiting orders <:: RAVEN, load your weapons, we march for Villa De-Contasto straight away" All the Soldiers around loaded in fresh pulse rounds and started a forwards march towards the east, straight into the belly of the beast.

4 hours later.

Screams all around, blood all over, bodies scatter the small villa and as UU.OTA.RAVEN-1.99089's team moved under the sewers they saw what was happening, the resistance had started killing innocent people in a hope to scare all into fighting, claiming this was the work of the Union. UU.OTA.RAVEN-1.99089 held her hand up in an order for the other five to stop, and stop they did. In a quiet yet robotic tone <:: Soldiers, prep for injection, ready flash grenades, we wish to interrogate all inside." All five nodded and holstered their AR2's and held out flash nades. UU.OTA.RAVEN-1.99089 raised her hand and pointed at to soldiers than to either side of a small grate and the two moved and stood ready. UU.OTA.RAVEN-1.99089 gave the order to toss all grenades into the small room and as soon as they did people started to scream and blind fire, killing most of their own in the doing of this UU.OTA.RAVEN-1.99089 spoke in her normal, robotic tone <:: Inject." and all the Overwatch soldiers converged on the small room, taking down all the people inside, some tied up units are heard speaking words of praise <:: Soldiers, untie these units." two of the soldiers untied the 3 units and proceeded to pick them up and carry them to 99089 <:: Men, you got captured, I hereby deem you unworthy to the union from direct orders of HC you are sent to death." 99089 aimed her AR2 at the Units and fired a shot into each Units head. 99089 reloaded the AR2 she carried and ordered all five of the soldiers to follow her.

2 hours later.

UU.OTA.RAVEN-1.99089 sat in a chair talking to a citizen <:: So, you were being held captive correct?" "Yes." <:: You say your name is William Johnson, relation to Alica Johnson, corredt? "Yes. Do you know anything of her?" <:: She is scheduled for relocation to City 45." "Oh thank the skies she is ok!" <:: Now now citizen, answer me, why are you here?" "I was sent in by a Razor train, this was City 13 after all." 99089 starts to mumble down her radio and then she speaks again <:: That is.... impossible, we shot this place with pulse mortars and Fire storm rockets. How in the name of the Union did it survive?" "Underground tunnels, we used 'em. So, anything else you require from me?" <:: Yes, you are to be sent to City 45 to await interrogation, you will be then sent too City 5 when this "Alica" arrives."

UU.OTA.RAVEN-1.99089 stood at the desk with the other two soldiers, talking to the newest SeC when a loud BOOM! rings through the whole compound, then another <:: Hmmph, GRID must be testing those new explosives they made." muttered 99089. <:: 99089, get RAVEN together as it's time to breach the factory in the RED zone." 99089 nodded and ordered her two soldiers to follow her out of the room, the other SeC who they saw walk out earlier walks back with minor explosive damage to his armor.

1) Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs OOC'ly detailing why your character wishes to join the Combine Civil Authority and what lead your character to do so.
When Alica saw the Combine for the first time she was scared but then she started to learn more about them, how they live act and learn, she found out that the Combine where people and are modified and are made into basically super humans. They could endure more, run faster and where amazingly strong. The combine to Alica where gods, the people that saved humanity from falling to another race, maybe a bad race of aliens could of took over and enslaved humanity permanently even though humanity was enslaved Alica didn’t think of it that way, she just thought that by keeping every one organized it would help reach the Combines goal of reaching immortality and so she did as she was told and listened all the time.

Since Alica first saw the Combine she has always thought of them as the superior people and that they are perfect in any and every way possible and she has always dreamed of being perfect. When Alica first heard about how to get into the CCA she started to do work for the citizens. she started by cleaning windows and the barricades outside of the Nexus, after that she went on to hand out free Breen water from a tin can and a bucket, and from there straight to doing the same but this time with UU lemonade. Alica decided that giving out free lemonade would bring her no business so she got a permit to distribute the stuff around the plaza. After doing her good deed she was asked to apply for the CWU but she had to say no for her real dreams lay with the CCA.

She earned her first loyalist points by reporting a crime then by doing manual labor then she cleaned an Officers boots and after that got a recommendation and earned 3 points making a total of 6 points. And she earned her loyalist armband. After doing this she continued to help around the plaza still cleaning awaiting her applications verdict. Alica has still to learn more of the people she is going to get involved with and she will learn well.

3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character.
In the CCA I expect my character to learn about keeping order about how to reach our goal of immortality. My character will learn allot from being in the CCA about how to stop a fight how to deal with day to day problems like an un civilized Citizen. She will become hardened and dependable even more trustworthy than she is and will try to exceed her superiors expectations and she shall do this if she gets through to her dream of joining the CCA to help, protect and keep the streets clean. She will do anything that is asked of her from all of her superiors.
If Alica gets through she will be able to utilize all of her skills to help crack down on resistance like help make small ambush points or help with luring a known target out to the open and not mess up. She will help in all and any way like in ration distribution that may sound boring but Alica will do it as long as it means the Combine will reach the goal of immortality.
 
I myself with learn how to RP more effectively against citizens, I will try my hardest to play by the rules 100% of the time and never screw up on something big, as a person I wish to have many an enjoyable time RP'ing as a recruit going through basic training to hopefully become an OfC or anything higher so I can prove to myself and all that I have improved on my RP skills as a CCA member and as a person in general.
And as the player I will be able to connect with my character more due to having a strict parent and stuff. I will be able to utilize skills I have in real life and use them in game, like my ideas for setting up an ambush I can do that stuff well. All in all I will be able to do more as a Combine than as a citizen so for me as a person I will be able to immerse myself into a bigger, better RP environment.


4) Please provide a detailed back-story from an out-of-character perspective on your applying character. This section must be detailed and consist of a minimum of 300 words.
Alica Johnson was brought up around violence fighting and nothing else, she went through a variety of schools, kicked out due to her parents fighting with other parents and all the family problems she had.

On her Eighteenth birthday Alica was given the best present ever, the new of her pregnancy from her test and she was so happy she spent the day in tears of joy, but that happiness didn't last as death came knocking on her door at night in the form of a murder, her 1st thought was &quot;Hmm this man looks like he needs help, I may as well let him in&quot; and so she did and he was fine at 1st and after 2 hours it started, he pulled out a .44 magnum forced Alica on the floor and shot down her boyfriend and wiped the blood all over his face, and he then went on to eat some of the skin on Alica's boyfriends body, after such a traumatic experience she never thought she could amount to anything at all.

A few weeks after her baby died Alica decided to try and find new love, she did a man by the name of Jerome Johnson and he was a coloured man and he was also tall with blue eyes and dark black hair, she thought that she had found her true love and she did.

7 years later the 7 hour war started, in her town they came from the sky to the ocean, drop ships landed on Military boats and the SYNTH wiped out all of the ships or took command over them, Alica was changed by then she was a good person and had learned through her years of abuse, death and bad things that she should live a good life even though she lost her baby on its day of birth due to the umbilical cord strangling it to death and with the help of Jerome she thought she could live through this. One day during a city relocation the transport taking them to the new city was ambushed by resistance and unfortunately Jerome was shot in the crossfire and Alica was taken back to the resistance camp where they kept her, Alica didn’t like being there, she hated the resistance because it was one of their gunner’s how killed Jerome, she was in an angry state of mourning, and when she had the chance she left and headed out to the rally point where she met up with a few people who were also with the transport or moving to find CCA ruled land and they were escorted by CCA and OTA.

A few days after she left to find a CCA ruled city with the new people she met they came across a small area named by the Combine, Checkpoint Zero Alpha Five and that is where they all stayed for a few days only to gather  their bearings and head on out to find another city.

After they left Checkpoint Zero Alpha Five they came across a small city which was not CCA ruled, it was resistance ruled and well she and all of the other citizens felt like they were going to die because they knew little about the Combine and how they are powerful soldiers, The attack on the City began at dawn on the 2nd day of finding it and it did not last as long as she thought and it gave her hope that the Combine are better world leaders, When the siege started the CCA as they liked to be called were sent in to assess the problem and then they called in the OTA units, the OTA made Alcia feel safe yet scared at the same time, mainly because the OTA where deadly and lethal soldiers and as she later found out in the new city they find is that OTA stands for Overwatch Transhuman Arm and that they are the army of the combine, the elite of elite the best most scariest soldiers. A few weeks later they found a new City called Garfort or City 125 and that is where she lived for a while and that is when the “things” came they where ugly creatures with elongated fingers wide mouths and there was a different kind of them, one kind was overly fast and another was able to through these little things the Combine like to call headcrabs at you but these ones where poisonous and slowly would kill you so after these attacks started they had to uproot and leave, taking as much as possible with along with an APC that was left in the garage, unfortunately 3 men where lost trying to retrieve it from the creature infested nexus and as they left the CCA called in drop ships to send in OTA to clean the place up for re population of that city. A few weeks after they found that City they found a new one name City 49 and Alica remained there for a while.

During her 1st days in CCA ruled City 49 she started to learn of the CCA by reading books and asking questions to those of them that would answer her, and she then finally decided to devote her life to try and join the CCA to reach their goal of immortality and from that day on she was a devoted CCA addict and could never stop learning about them, how they act and learn communicate all of their stuff, she even tried to contact people who actually help her learn more about earths new command.

A few weeks later after the initial attacks her home town was liberated by resistance but only a few hundred people made it out alive, Alica not one of them for she was one of the 50 people getting relocated and she was the only one to be getting sent to City 45.

After arriving at C45 Alica knew this was the best place to be, the CCA who where in command of that area were highly trained, smart and well pretty much heading for the goal of immortality.

4 weeks after arriving Alica decided to start helping out by cleaning windows and if she was allowed the barricades of the nexus and from them days on she started to prepare for her CCA application.
