Still wondering why people feel the need to beat up Vincent just because he's a dick :( Otherwise Vincent is so run to rp with

As Carnivore, I like Toxic OOC, but Vincent is a douche who jokes TOO much. And in case you haven't noticed, Beans is relatively douchey and fucked up himself and likes to feel all knowing. It's the primary way I play him as, even when I know I'm wrong OOC I keep it up IC, so when Vince points out valid points, it just angers Beans even more.

I say we just void it, people seem too attached to their characters to allow any misfortune to befall them without pre-planning.

Fair enough, but this is a democracy and I wish to hear about Jonco's resolve, but I'd be happy with voiding it all, as much of it was just too out of hand and over-reactish.

So today, as many of the normal outlanders know, there was a big fuckup event today.

It all started out with Beans and Vincent, going at eachother, all is normal. So he wouldn't stop, I attacked him of course. Two boys have to ride in on their valiant steeds and white knight it all and save Vincent, which resulted into a bit of a tiff. Without really any more injury, Vincent was let go by help of Paul Haynes.

Later, after having some nice passive with Joseph Cruickshank, I drove along the road. Vincent insulted me over the radio, so I found him along the road and parked my vehicle. (Which happens not to be the jeep it's being portrayed by, thank the developers for not including the Jalopy, which happens to be the closest match for my vehicle.)

I got into it, blah blah blah, and then Richard Sherlock shows up aiming a gun at the about 5-6 people present. After more people arrived, I was shot at by Jonco, but kept Vincent at gunpoint as a sort of disarming tool- which of course, everyone being a white knight, didn't work.

OH BUT WAIT, here comes super vort, shooting a vortessence beam at my vehicle, BOOM. I went along with it, fine. It's just disabled for now because of course by my RIDICULOUS logic, zap does not equal boom. But I said zap equals boom for a short time. I'd take about 1-2 months fixing my vehicle back to working condition. After everyone threw a hissy fit in OOC about my decision and the explosion caused by these people in general, I decided to leave because I couldn't take the lack of RP occuring at the time.

TL;DR, I was banned for a day after leaving, I made the decision to fix up my vehicle because I strongly believe that zapping a vehicle with some sort of electric vortessence beam should completely destroy a vehicle, and these 3 people risked the lives of 12 people to save the life of one.

Please please, vote and tell me what you think.

The system for weapons on TnB's STALKER RP seems to work best. It's completely player-trade based. So, initially they had some sort of distribution system to stimulate the market and insert the weapons, but beyond then the purchase and spread of weapons depends on trade among players. Only when the trade stock gets low do admins intervene. Or at least that's how I understand their system to be, and I believe it wouldn't be a bad idea to consider here.

Yes, from what I can remember, at least when I played, there were trusted people who made characters in the trader faction and could "spawn" weapons from a limited stock and trade them off, this gave the server an actual economy (which worked fine for the most part (exo-suit lol)), It's better than random dropping weapons
This would work if on CG everyone didnt buy 5k tokens

Well I know (On outlands at least) that tokens are relatively obsolete, so I believe it'd work quite well.

I like Vin as a character, but Beans only acts with hostility towards him because any sort of verbal or physical attack on him is pretty much a go-ahead to vent out all of his anger on that person.

I like the idea but...

Maybe weapons and ammo should be spawned by admins, or find their way to the outlands by way of traders to keep it more controlled, and so that Derp McMingington isn't online one day at 2 AM all alone, and finds a an MP7 and two boxes of ammo, only to go

[tall, fast runn...] shoot at the man in the checkered shirt and kills him

without waiting for a response. We've all seen it happen before. I say let the weapons flow, but make sure only the capable roleplayers have access to them.

-Murdering people in the shadows of C18, C8, C45 and C11 before moving to the Outlands. (Back when Beans and Beef were still just developing in my mind.)

-Going on a rampage on my old OfC (527) with a citizen when Nova got shut down. (Wasn't long lived, I should've waited.) 155 shot me down.

-RPing as a Japanese criminal-drug dealer on C8 and getting my thumb and balls chopped off by 155.

-And finally, the dozen or so executions I've done on my character Beans, all of them were great.

-Oh, and running headfirst into a wall with my pants down when trying to rape someone in the city. (On Beans.)

-Oh, one last one, on Beans I went on a rampage in town with an MP7, was on top of the barn roof and opened fire on the inn, killed two people and injured a few.

-Fuck, and when Achim shot my leg off with a crossbow. (Beans.)

A little difficult to get a good gauge on the character's personality and psyche, but I'm inferring that this is a somewhat shy and childish / immature / innocent type if character?

She started tossing snowballs at Beans before the OTA attacked. She's like a mute 6 year old.

I give my full support to the idea, it'd be great to have more than the standard MP7 and USP Match that all the armed populace of outlands carries.

But maybe, just maybe, a hunting rifle of sorts with a scope, or a scoped Mosin Nagant. I know I know, some of you may not like the idea of a scoped rifle, but if it was very uncommon (Maybe replace all these OP guys with Combine snipers with something a little more realistic.) then it'd be a bit more fun and realistic.

I'm not an expert on hunting rifles/sniper rifles in/around the Romanian mountains, but it'd be cool to have something other than a Combine sniper.

I think admins should set the heights and weights of players, so that as soon as someone joins they don't make themselves 4 feet tall.

You should request an admin to change your height according to your description. (Or in The Hound's case, Authorizations.)
