City 45, you don't like it because it is NOT depressing. No other Nexus can compare to C45's, C45 has the most utility out of every nexus. ALSO, S6 has only 1 entrance, not 5. The apartments are all custom made, and the CWU HQ is uber boss.

1) Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs OOC'ly detailing why your character wishes to join the Combine Civil Authority and what lead your character to do so.
It was a sunny August day in City 1. Phoenix, Arizona. his soles melted on the side walk... He hasn't had a drink in a while... he stumbled and hit face first into the scalding concrete. passed out from lack of hydration. He awoke when a Civil Protection unit put an IV in a vein of his arm, full of salene to keep him hydrated. After he gave the unit many thanks and blessings, he scurried off. Thinking about how they saved his life.
   City 18, May. He was in the subway going to a different part of the city to meet up with his good friend, Vincent. He sat in the cart and felt a horrible jolt. The Subway hit something and derailed. He heard the moaning of the undead as they tried to force their way into the car. Panicked he didn't know what to do. He heard the staccato sound of gunfire. A squad of RAZOR CPs stormed the tunnel and slaughtered the Exogen. He had thanked them profusely. One simply claimed "It's my job." He aspired to join the CCA ever sense. That is when he started calling them, "Lord".
   He owes his life to the CCA, and he won't forget it. He has served and helped his way to Loyalist status. The local units that patrol the plaza, 864, and 270. He took a liking to them, and an 01, 164. He helped them a lot, giving them information on TALON, the whereabouts to a rebel named Cornelius Blayke, whom they apprehended. He has also done various painting over resistance symbols, picking up trash, cleaning up. So they were not so hard on him. He wishes to join the Union because they saved him, and he wishes to help others and enforce the laws created by the Union. He will give his life for the Union.

3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character.
I expect it to be cold, hard, strict, and brutal. Your emotions don't matter, you serve and you don't stop until your dead. Be ready to inflict harm on other people, because the CCA doesn't care about YOUR morals or your ethics. They want the job done. And you will get the job done, or  they will kill you. I know what it is like, you cannot show emotion under penalty of death. Because your thoughts do not matter, unless your high enough rank to make them matter.
    My character expects it to be glorious, full of honor and epic battles and valor. Honorable deeds and utmost loyalty to the Union. Will these things happen? Maybe. But the very thought of him being in that uniform makes him giddy. If this application is accepted, he will get a brutal taste of what the CCA really is. But no matter how cruel or bloody, he will always be loyal. I expect the CCA to be ruthless, relentless, and unforgiving. Yes you are fed, clothed, trained, and all that; but to them, in reality, your expendable. They take care of you, but they don't care. If you die, the only way they care is how they lost another Unit.

Eric Varco was an auto mechanic for Ferrari. He was the single man whom built the engine on those beautiful super cars. He made some of the best engines. He had a wife and kid, whom he no longer remembers.   It was a nice, sunny day during the war. He was visiting a friend in Arizona. the heavens split open and discouraged fire power the likes no one has ever seen. Drop ships rained from the sky. The building he was in collapsed, it was a miracle he survived. He remembers a combine soldier picking him out of the rubble. He remembers saying "Don't shoot! I surrender!" The soldier recognized the phrase "I surrender!" and did not kill him. Next thing he knew, he was on a train... Sitting next to a black guy. With a suit case, with blue clothes. Then he started his new life.
    He was in a tunnel, running. He had never ran this fast before. Resistance, coming for... Him? He can't remember why he was chased, but he ran and didn't stop. Gunfire snapped at his heels. Then, in a staccato burst, the resistance members were dropped by precise AR2 fire. He turned and COTA were there. They were on top of him in moments. Then he blacked out. Then he woke up in the UCH. He praised the union like it was a god. Then he set out on his quest to join the CCA. He's had some bumps along the way, but through sweat and labor he has ACHIEVED IT! Filled with glee, he can barely write this application.

Twice, the first one had a blackmark for a good reason. Then another for no reason. And no reason was specified for the third. The second, I'd rather not talk about. One was for a voided situation,  can't remember. Then no reason.

I: You've managed to escape the city, good. But your not safe. Yet. Find high ground. Once you do, look around. Try to spot some edible plants, people, or shelter. Be careful, this area is full of cliffs, rivers, valleys and hidden dangers.

II: In this area there is a host of edible plant life, and animals. If you want an animal, take a sturdy stick, break it to give it a sharp point, and corner a rabbit in a rabbit hole. Block off the hole and try to dig it out to kill it. If you don't have a fire, then you'll have to eat it raw. Water, well all the streams and rivers are safe to drink.


III: If your desperate, try a cave. But it is un-recommended. There are prefabricated, abandoned Resistance camps scattered about. You won't have to look too hard.

IV: Weapons aren't somthing you NEED. But it is recommended. Thugs, rapists and Combine scour these areas looking for some undefended sap to loot and kill. If you chance upon a weapon, grab it. Perhaps you can trade it off for one with ammo.

V: Humanity, follow the river. Keep going, you'll eventually have to hike it, but keep following it. You'll find the resistance base sooner or later. Once you do, do NOT be hostile in anyway.

VI: AVOID CAVES. For the love of god, if you value your life, avoid underground places and caves. You'll either run into a zombie, rapist or murderer.

VII: Once you hear a chopper, hit the dirt. If you have to bury your self in sand or mud to hide yourself, DO IT! They won't arrest you, they'll kill you. If they spot you, let's hope your a good runner, because you'll have to run, fast.
