Our last spacebuild had nothing and no one. The bare essentials, there was no  motivation to hurl yourself into space.  Now, there could be





CURRENCY TRANSFERS, yes, we could do ore mining. And thus, if you earn say, 20 astroides worth of ore, you can sell it to a guy. Then you can convert your newly made money into another server's cash. Like HRP or OCRP. Yes, actually earning money.

This would also promote piracy. Stealing some one's ore actually has a benefit.


PROS

+ Space build would get players
+People would have incentive to build shit
+ Economy


Cons

- Players getting large amounts of money



But what we have to remember is ore mining is hard, it takes a long time to get 10k worth of currency, and the exchange rate would be different



Space Build to HRP
2 ore equals 1 HRP

OCRP
3 ore equals 1 OCRP.



And perhaps we can add in the default Gmod's dupe system, where you can upload to the gmod network and use some of the uploaded dupes. This would allow players to save their work on a network rather then the server, and also retrieve ships that are not theirs. Some people suck at making ship,s and don't want to create a super carrier by hand, and that's fine.




New map: Gooniverse or Twin Suns would be a better change, no more fucked up textures, and no more glitches.
New weapons like Gcombat could bring the game mode alive, allowing players to blast pirates to hell or allow pirates to punch a neat hole in a ship, to then grapple on with Wire Weld and use a resource hose to steal ore.

I recently encountered a gent that severely opposed this topic, saying "God made it adam and eve, not adam and steve." I took offense to this; gay marriage hurts nothing and no one, such excuse would mean little in congress, and why deny the right to marry to some one? All men are created equal, but when will we actually respect that?

Please, I want to hear your opinions.

Remember GM artillery? Why not code a simple game mode, red vs blue style, put it on that map, and the goal is to shell the enemy straight to hell? It'd be a fun, explosiony mix. No one has ever done it. And it'd be a simple, fun little thing.

Yes, the status bar is one of the topics here today....


The only reason the minor servers haven't done well is because they've fallen out of general style. And there is nothing truly unique about them to drive players. HRP = completely unique, OCRP - Done right, HL2RP - Executed flawlessly. See the pattern? A TON of time and devotion was taken into those servers, unanimous development cycles and admins. If that didn't make sense (it's late.) It means, a shit ton of people worked on them to make them great, the other servers, not so much.

In my mind? Keep them, not offline so it's dominated by red lettering. But let us see our servers, right?

Fix for these servers: Lots of attention and loving car


{ CCA: Finally, finally is here on a golden train made from God, Descending from mount olympus on clouds and cupids. It's found balance, I have no complaints, except one.

Two trainings a day is fine IN THEORY. But maybe 3 would be better, so they can get more and more done, so they can be in divisions faster, and on the feild faster. If you worry about "They can't learn as much" Have a review at the end of the trainings for the day. } - not really a rant


OCRP - Just a couple more dedicated admins, and it'll be superb! MY one complaint is how much weed you get from a pot, it's wonky as fuck, sometimes I get 12, then 3, then 2.

Me n' my friend wanted a new text RP to do, so after some furious brainstorming, I came up with an original idea.


The year is 2898 and Earth's enviroment and economy are completely trashed. The only option: Space. It took one hundred years to create the first space faring vessels, which used powerful pulse engines to propel them faster then the speed of light. Humanity began reaching for every habitable system, and terraforming ones that were not. (2800)


Alpha Centauri (A&B), Pegasus System, the Solar system, and minor constellations (Darwin system, Xixes system) have been colonised. But in the year 2880, a brutal and imperialistic alien race began aggressive expansion, human worlds started going dark. And it was inevitable that the Cradle would come under assault.

Humanity turned to Xixe Marn,  a politician, whom forged the first Human Republic. Mighty battlefleets were forged, and armies were made. Utilizing the newest Mk. I plasma rifles.
(The symbol for the republic is an I with another line through the center)

The aliens were assaulted by the first, Battle Fleet Fire, which beat them back to their isolated, dying worlds.


The weapons and technology of this universe is largely varied.
Your standard infantryman is outfitted with the Mk. IV Plasma Rifle, and the new Mk. II battle armor. Which is not a whole lot of help against Plasma fire.

But a war RP isn't... War RP without a war.

In 2890, a group called the Crimson Stripe Mining company used their PMC force to overrun outlying planets in the Xixes system, taking them and forging a military force, the Fist of Freedom.
The Republic Military is ready for a long, bloody war.


The earth navy consts of:

A Goliath Class Super Heavy destroyer usually is the spearpoint for an armada. They can soak up damage and dish it back out on a terryfing scale.
The sheer amount of armorements and Fusion Reactors make it a horror for all enemy captains.

It possesses atleast five hundred Short Range defense turrets, and mid range plasma cannons.

Monitor (Heavy)

The cannon cannot manouvre, the ship needs to manouvre into position

Nostra Class Destroyer (Medium)
The Nostra Class Destroyer is one of the more common warships of the Earth Republic. It boasts heavy armorement for it's size. But it's manouverability has been sacrificed for more power to Dorsal lances.

Support & Help / BASS refuses to work

I have done everything, SVN check out in gmod/gmod, the bass file itself, I have hit download, install and all that bullocks for bass, gone ingame press F1 in my car, and nothing, got nothing, no sound, not even an error message. I have done everything Darthwill has said. Please, help.

Oh hoo-bloody-ray.....




Did you know that 80% of people that play a game wont finish it? That means 80% of you people have no choice but to believe me!
But it's not like you can beat CS:GO; because there IS. NO. STORY. MODE. THAZ RIAGHT, VALVe is outright selling Multipleplayer and only multi player. A game should only stand up on Single Play
er.
This is because your experience in multiplayer, can differ, because of greifers, lag, etc. It confuses me, on why VALVe makes mostly single player games, then releases MP only games; and expects us to pay full price.
Isn't there a Half Life 3 that's been in production for the past five years, Valve? But we all know that they'd jump off their own studio roof, then actually work. Maybe they want to build tension or something. Well, VALVe, is that what 3D REALMS has been doing for the pass 12 years, when not making Forever?
They promised us our sequal in 2007, well, VALVe, that was 5 years ago, anything? No? Oh, but L4D2, Portal 2, more hats for TF2, and now CS: GO. Apparently your scheduel is too busy to make a game people want to buy.


But, no, CS:S wasn't good enough. Or Half Life. So here we are, a half baked excuse for a game. Probably up there with one of the worsts games I've ever had the misfortune of buying. But atleast I got it while the sale lasted.
CS:GO, from a technological standpoint, is flawless. Bullets come out of guns and hit things you want them to. You jump, and you can trust to hit the ground. But it's all the same as CS:S. For better or worse.
In CS:S, the weapons were decent for one thing. Any weapon could be used effectively, it's all balanced very nicely, except for the AWP, that hideously broken pile of cartiledge. Which is to gameplay what a crow bar is to a kneecap.
The graphics in CS:S were on par with HL2, so they were fine. But CS:GO thinks that by improving the interface, and by putting on new cloths, it can get away with recycling everything from CS:S. And completely break balance in half with a sickening crack.
the maps are the exact same from CS:S, bar some new wall paper (updated textures.) And you know, in most games, that hip fire is a panicky option? Well, CS:GO begs to differ. That is your only option, and Iron sights are for compitant developers. So if you want accuracy from your assault rifle, you can press ESC, hit quit, and play MW2 instead; a much, less horrible game.
I found that your arsenal in CS:GO varies from (Useless - completely broken) and there is no middle ground, every weapon save for the AWP falls into the first category. But, in CS:S, any weapon was good. But VALVe doesn't want you to think they spent the entire 6 months just picking their noses, right? Oh wait....


Well this means that this review is shorter then I wanted.... Oh well, the next will be longer then my arm. Thanks for reading.
