Title: Where Garrysmod sound files located?
Post by: [ACS Cpl.] Midnightspy007 on August 10, 2013, 10:09:24 AM: I need to delete 2 sounds from my garrysmod, But I cannot find any sound files AT ALL so where are they at?

Post by: wakeboarderCWB on August 10, 2013, 11:39:36 AM: What types of sound? You need to download GCFScape, then go to File > Open and navigate to "steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\" and open "garrysmod_dir.vpk". There you can see all of the files, edit what you need, etc.

If he's steampiped, it'll be in steam/steamapps/common/garrysmod/garrysmod/sounds

Right click then Delete?????

You used to be able to delete files in a GCF. Let me see if I can find a way.
