Take your personal problems away from CG!
« on: July 15, 2011, 03:13:22 PM »
I am damn tired of seeing people's god damn problems on this GAMING FORUM.

Take personal problems to your parents, friends, doctor even your pet will do just keep it the hell out of this GAMING FORUM.

I will be asking Rofl to make this a rule because it is getting out of hand now.

Ummm I honestly don't have a problem with it. I mean, c'mon.. It doesn't have to only be about Gaming... It can be about life too. Everyone posts about their life and other people's life.. We come here to discuss everything, not to only talk about gaming.

I agree with Jiggerfrizz, I am getting bored of seeing these threads being made, all it does is attract unwanted attention and stirs up trouble, I seen this by experience (PE forums, if anyone was there), when someone made a thread talking about their real life problems, all it did, was create a nasty circle of flaming, trolling, and "It can be done yourself" responses.

Even though I do feel for those people (even though some are indeed, bullshit stories when looking closely into it.) I don't want to see them in the forums. As it just causes trouble.

I support JiggerFrizz, I've witnessed and experienced these situations before all first hand.
Clearly racist.

I totally agree with this. Not saying general discussion should be limited to just gaming.

But no one wants to come on and see the forums clogged with stories about how shit your life is.

It just clogs the forum full of shit

Then don't. You have all the power to just not read the thread.

Plus, this isn't just a forum.

This is a COMMUNITY. A place where people gather and talk about things.

You already have gaming sections of the forum, and one general section.

You want shit only related to gaming? Again, Only click on the interesting threads.
Save yourself the headache.

I'd like to see what YOU do if shit turns sour for you.

Probs talk to my family and friends or go to the doctors

It's not the whole "Yeah it offends me I don't want to know about it", but it's the people who it attracts.
It just bothers me as it stirs up drama. Admins don't want to have a situation where a thread has been derailed and turned to a troll fest because 1 person who has IRL problems.

Also, if I had IRL problems, I'd seek the appropriate person. I noticed the people in the internet are not going to help you.
Clearly racist.

Most of my family hates me. My doctors can only do so much and they can't be around 24/7. I asked for some people to talk to.

I have nowhere else to turn. I already got a few people talking to me on steam so I don't need to go on about it on here anymore.

I support jiggerfrizz, even tho i do feel for those that actually have problems, its still very annoying tho.  If your life is shit talk to someone in real life, why the hell would you talk about it to people you don't even know?  I think a lot of people that complain are just attention whores "OMG my life is terrible and i want you to feel sorry for me so read my thread."  Not trying to be mean but seriously, if you need help talk to someone that can actually do something, if you post it on the internet you will only get trolled, and all we can do is type to you what to do or w/e.  If your life is shit, get treatment or w/e your problem is, posting it on the forums aint going to do anything other than get trolls to troll you.  Also if you ask what you should do on the internet by people you don't know over people you do know in life, theres something wrong in that picture imo. Thats just my opinion of course.
