What is Blacklight Corporation?

• Blacklight Corporation is new crime organization coming with the opening of OCRP2, and is looking for new recruits for its ranks!
• It exists with the hope to both create passive roleplay in general, and develop crime roleplay to more than simple muggings and killings you might see on something like DarkRP.

What all does Blacklight Corporation do?

• Again, Blacklight Corporation is involved in a wide variety of things across OCRP2. While we do participate in various aspects of crimeRP, we also plan on doing different events and other things to promote roleplay for the general population of the server.

Who all is Blacklight Corporation open to?

• Anyone can join Blacklight Corporation! Simply create an application with the format listed further down on the page, post in here, and it will be quickly reviewed by a interview official!

Blacklight Corporation Ranks/Rosters:

Recruits:

• Recruits are the lowest ranking members within Blacklight Co., as they are those who have just been accepted into the organization. Recruits remain recruits until their evaluation/introduction into the organization is completed, and they are promoted to basic member by a interview official.
• Recruits may participate in organization events and wear the organization tag.
• Recruits may not withdraw money or items from the organization bank, attend organization meetings, provide recommendations for those looking to rank up, or participate in any crimeRP associated with the group (exceptions being training).

The current recruit roster is as follows:

'Average Joes':

• 'Average Joes' is the first official rank of Blacklight Corporation. As an Average Joe, a player is an official member of the organization, and are expected to act as such.
• 'Average Joes' may participate in organization events, wear the organization tag, withdraw money/items from the organization bank, and participate in authorized crimeRP.
• 'Average Joes' may not attend organization meetings without approval from an interview official or higher, provide recommendations for those looking to rank up, or participate in any crimeRP they are not authorized for.

The current 'Average Joes' roster is as follows:

Gangsters:

• A gangster is the first rank in Blacklight Corporation in which a member begins to gain a higher scale of responsibilities. Gangsters are expected to help both new members and represent the organization in a good way no matter what they're doing.
• Gangsters may participate in organization events, wear the organization tag, withdraw money/items from the organization bank, provide recommendations for those looking to rank up, attend organization meetings, and get involved in all levels of crimeRP..
• Gangsters may not accept new members or participate in any crimeRP they are not authorized for.

The current gangster roster is as follows:

Interview Official:

• Interview officials are responsible for many of the promotions within the organization. Interview officials review recruitment applications, and deal with many of the basic members.
• Interview officials can do all that gangsters do, accept/deny applications for recruitment and 'average joes', demote basic members to recruit for re-training (with Council approval), and remove recruits from the training program (with approval from the Council). They may also do any level of crimeRP.
• Interview officials may not initiate crimeRP in the name of the organization, gangsters+, or accept applications above their rank.

The current interview officials roster is as follows:

Streetmen:

• The streetmen are responsible for putting on various events throughout the city to promote passiveRP, the organization, the economy, etc. They are also responsible for setting up crimeRP events, managing crimeRP in the group, and reporting those operations to the Council when they occur.
• Streetmen can do all that gangsters can do, create events without authorization (Class B+ crimeRP events need authorization from the Council), use organization resources for events/crimeRP (try and check with the Council first, though), and train recruits.
  
• Streetment may not accept any applications, and cannot demote any members.

The current streetmen are as follows:

Council Members:

• The members of the Council make up the top of the organization, making all the tough decisions that the group needs made. The council members have the final say in any applications/promotions, what events transpire, the policies in place for the group, and basically everything else you can think of that relates to Blacklight Corporation.
• Individual Council members may do anything that an event manager/interview official can do.
• Council votes are required to promote/demote any rank higher than a basic member.
• A council vote is required to remove any member from the organization.
• Any change in policies or rank authorizations must be voted on by the council and approved by the Don.
  
• In order for a vote to succeed it must pass a 2/3's majority.
• Any decisions made by the council may be vetoed by the current President of Blacklight Corporation.

Blacklight Corporation Policies and Rules:

In-character Rules:

• Never commit crimeRP in the name of the organization without proper authorizations.
• Never steal from your fellow organization members or our allies. 'Borrowing' is not an excuse.
• Show respect to your superiors. You can insult you equals or lessers if you so desire, but if it gets out of hand...
• Do not declare war on neutral factions. Talk with the Council if there's a problem with a faction we are at peace with.
• Always inform the Council if any of the following occurs: You are leaving the organization; there is a traitor in our ranks; a faction has attacked our organization; a faction wishes to discuss terms with our faction; our allies break an alliance; anything related to crimeRP associated with the organization.
• Never publicly break laws without authorization. If you get arrested by the police for being stupid, we won't bail you out.

Out-of-character Rules:

• Try to use correct grammar, spelling, and sentence structure while using both IC and OOC chats ingame.
• Respect ALL players in OOC, and do your best to ICly, no matter who they are.
• Always follow the rules of the server.
• Always listen to the admins, and report any issues to them if it's not IC.
• Don't flame other users/organizations.
• Try and be active at least a few times a week.

Blacklight Corporation Changelog:

Log #1 - 4/4/2013:

• Major ranking overhaul. Names/authorizations edited, and original third tier ranks removed entirely.
• Rules and policies section added.
• Recruit application edited.
• Promotion application added.
• FAQ edited to reflect the organization's new orientation towards crimeRP.

On a more broad scale, I've done a major overhaul of what the group is. Instead of being a group dedicated soley to developing passive roleplay on a general scale, we'll be focusing on the crimeRP aspect of roleplay a bit. I plan on making the group create a more roleplay intensive enviornment when doing things like growing and smuggling, and plan on introducing a bit of a 'corruption' aspect to things such as business and possibly government should it ever come to a point in our group's growth that we should be allowed such a privalege.
