 The map reminds of that on Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas. I don't know why but it seems cool.

Maor pictures! Finished the 0 level terrain and roads. I also changed the riverside cliff texture. Methinks it's more smexxy. I fixed the spray for the lake waterfall and changed up the river big waterfall up a little. Looks a lot better now :D

I love that you dedicate yourself so much to Outlands, with the map updates and map changes. Keeping RP fresh for all the Outlanders!

More on topic, this new map is looking great. Though you can only see the rough details thus far, I can manage to see different elements shaping up within the map; enough of them to know this'll be a good one. Keep up the great work gai

Was a rather quiet day at work today. Blocked off a couple exterior roads, finished all the bridges, added some river access points (ramps n ladders n a big old ricketty staircase) and made the cabin thingy by the lake.  Cleaned up the big waterfall, again.

So many pictures, I had to spoiler them to reduce page load times.

Did some more work. No sleep. Cant sleep. Whatever. Finished a store house combo, made the town roads smexxy, and built the ruined church.

Bloody, bloody brilliant. I love the way this map is shaping up so far.

Also on a side note, gotta bring this up because autism:
Graveyard (Tray)

What are you suggesting?: Makeshift Graveyard
What style will it be in?: Rebellion, Barren, Wastlandish
Will it have any special features such as moving doors or traps? If so, list them below.:

Not really a special feature, but one open grave might be nice (in preparation, there's no body or anything like that inside.

Extra Notes:

The graveyard should be a somber location, where significant characters could be laid to rest should they die, and other characters could go to mourn their deaths.

** Idea was very much inspired by the Goodsprings Cemetery in Fallout: New Vegas, and the Boot Hill Cemetery

Completed Town A and Town B for the most part. Including the orgasmic warehouse <3. Also finished the junkyard and added some trees to the west side road and town areas. Improved sunlight on Town A and put Town B into shadows.

Amazing job you're doing here, Statua. I like the tudor-style of the inn's exterior, the warehouse interior has the right industrial look, and I'm loving the roadside junkyard. Keep up the good work!

It's using the full size of the grid. It wont be as fine detailed, nontheless it will still have foliage galore. I'm trying to keep resources down to keep framerates high.

Finished the underground cellar thing which is similar to the small bunker in ineu_pass_v1c. I also added trees and rocks galore to the 0 level terrain. Uploading a video of what I have so far. Here's some pictures.

No that's just the underground cellar I stuck on the road between Town A and the path to the lake. Mines will be bigger, badder, and much much longer.

There are not many trees from some of these screenshots... Lots of sharp edges that look very unnatural. I suggest some more trees and the ridges on the mountains be made sloped.

Give me some screenshots to look at and I'll let you know what I can do. Keep in mind I'm starting to get FPS drops due to the amount of trees.

So I'm guessing this is going to be a more vehicle driven map? It's quite large, but is going to take a crap-ton of time getting anywhere on foot without some paracetamols, and even with... But either way, It's looking fantastic and I can't wait to play on it! :D

Vehicles would be helpful like any other large area game. Traveling on foot is what makes survival RP what it is.

Closed beta started. Anyone I trust wont do things they shouldn't with this map has been given an alpha version for testing. If you see anyone giving you a link to the map and it's not me, decline it and kindly report it to me please. Anyone who has the alpha version, please keep it to yourself and report any and all bugs on this thread with a screenshot. Thanks!

Well. Just fixing a few bugs here and there. Beta compile is pmuch done and ready for the server. However I'm not lol. We'll make sure this baby is ready for the 16th.

Alpha testers didn't find many bugs if none at all. Beta compile is done and all known bugs are fixed. Adjusted the light_environment to look a little better. Beta version  is ready for the CG release. Which, fuck it will be right now. Might as well release it now since the map change has been bumped to the 17th.

in the last one if you climb over the rocks you can jump down underneath them where people could potentially exploit/s2k from the rocks and that sort of stuff, it also allows you to drop further down into a giant pool of water that's underneath the whole map and you can pretty much eavesdrop/pop out of the ground anywhere


the map also has fps issues as i usually get 30-40 in some areas but as seen in the screenshots i can get 280 in other areas
