Title: New Steam Account - Need Forum Steam ID Change
Post by: wakeboarderCWB on January 17, 2012, 04:19:46 PM: Well, I got a new Steam account but my forum account is still linked to my old one. My new Steam ID is below, if someone could change out my old one with my new one I would appreciate that very much.

When you connect to one of the servers it asks you to login via your forum information. If your username/password doesn't connect with the Steam account you're using to login to the server, it will tell you the username/password is incorrect. At least that's what I am guessing, because if I choose "Create a new account", it will tell me my username is already in use.

And yes, Somone, it still needs to be changed, thanks. But Crap-Head said he would get it tomorrow.

Donating for example. As you can see, he is goldmember. Because his forum account is not linked with his ingame account, he cannot enjoy his benefits in the server.
As well as times when a player needs to be banned which is done via the forums, it won't work if it's not linked.

It has many reasons ;)
