Title: Greatest Gmod Movie Ever
Post by: Reimer on March 19, 2012, 04:27:29 PM
I can't believe a lot of people haven't even seen this yet.
It has to be one of the best Garry's Mod movies ever made, albiet its age.

Hour and a half long, watch it when you got time to kill.

It was okay.

Constant post-whoring, it needs to stop. 15% warning issued.

Call me old fashioned, but I think GMod movies should be intended for silly shit and SDK shit should be serious.

As far as I know, this is the only serious gmod movie.

Although I would be rich if I had a dollar for every community I have seen try to make War of the Servers 2 and fail.

I think I was friends with the maker of this movie, Dr. Russel or something, but we haven't really talked since I got a new steam account. (Which was WAAAAAAAAAAAAY before I got into roleplay)

Reimer. No offense, but coming with this kind of stuff is just like coming to show off your new gameboy color.

OLD SHIT IS OLD.

Fair enough, but I figured that barely anybody I know has seen it, and that I enjoyed it. It brings no harm to either myself or anybody else, so what's wrong with sharing something I enjoyed with anybody who hasn't seen it and would afterwards say they enjoyed it as well?

And the title is just my opinion on the film, which should be irrelevant to this argument.

True, but it makes those who did see it back ages ago think you are a time traveler and came from the past or something...

Agreed, I remember watching this in around 2009. That's still late.

It's not like people haven't tried to make a second one, or others like it. I have personally been involved in at least 2 failed attempts to make a sequel. It is cursed, can't be done.

Sadly.

Riemer. You can make something like this using a animating program, garrysmod additional contents, customizable skins and animations, etc etc. Just takes patience.

Also, this is probably the best Gmod video ever.

I love that one too, it's a shame they stopped making them.

Gmod idiot box is just a bunch of random shit, it does not have a story. War of the servers has a story, thus why I like it. Last time I saw it was a few years ago, probably should watch it again soon. Also, don't get me wrong, gmod idiot box is funny, I just prefer things with a story.

Yea I was War of the Servers I while back. I like it a lot because it reminds me of War of the Worlds in every single way.

Also overall it was pretty nicely made and and the ideas behind it were pretty nice.
