Payment was an eCheck - these generally take anywhere from 2-5 days to clear. You generally will not receive the credits until it does, however in the OPs case we made a deal that should it not clear he would be permanently banned until the money was turned over to us and he was given his VIP ahead of time. Gonna lock this seeing as the issue has been resolved.

you'd be suprised. server bill, vps for the website, dos protection, taxes etc adds up to about 800$ a month. that doesn't include paying devs

buying the same game over and over again with a few tweaks here and there is being ignorant, look at MW3 and MW2, MW3 was almost the exact same game with some different weapons and maps, but pretty much the exact same game for full price
they said ghost was going to be on a new engine, and they pretty much lied about that, so why would i have hope that AW is going to be on a new engine, itll be the exact same engine with some graphical tweaks to make it look new and fresh which will cause all the 12 year olds to become stupid enough to buy it

Everyone knows COD and recently BF and some other shooters are milked out. They are literally being shit out and rushed to get one released every year. Other franchise are not. Or well, most are not.

the difference is hl1 and hl2 are very different games, whereas the cods are not. that being said, while I personally don't find it to be worth the money, if you enjoy the game, there's nothing wrong with buying it.

Assuming you would use the laptop for school as well. And you can't exactly take a desktop to school. 
But to be fair? I would get a good desktop for home to game on, and a less good laptop for school work. Or whenever you go to a friend or something.
Mainly because desktops are clearly superior to laptops. So whenever you are at home, you can use your desktop.

This is very good advice. Desktops are much, much better for the money. If you only need the laptop for school etc and not gaming, I'd recommend getting a good desktop and a decent laptop - it'll probably cost around the same and you'll get much better peformance. If this isn't an option, I can try to find a good laptop that isn't a total rip off.

this is dumb removing the strip club will not solve the issue, adding more incentive to roleplay outside of it will(or at least, should be attempted before resorting to just removing it)
