I recently found out my IQ is around 99-100 etc and I think im pretty "dumb"
I wanna know what your IQ is, or I wanna know if mine is bad or not.

If you surpassed 130, get the fuck off these forums and go speak to Mensa (pics or didn't happen, show me a certificate). You're probably bullshitting or the test you took is fake. Online tests are not an accurate way to determine IQ. You need to write the test in a professional institution (95% of the time a university or college) with a qualified test-giver present.
That being said, 95-105 is not stupid. 100 is always the mean. If the IQ happens to rise over a generation (unlikely), all IQs are reset so 100 always remains the mean. A 100 IQ today could be different from a 100 IQ two hundred years ago, although IQs tend not to change much as they're logic based rather than technological progress based. If you have a 100IQ, you're sitting right in the middle of the pack and there is nothing wrong with that. If you have 80 or lower, that's a problem. 50-60 or lower and you may be considered legally retarded. 130-140 is extremely intelligent, though I can almost guarantee no one on this forum has anywhere near that high of an IQ.

I understand most philosophy and physiology, along with algebra. I can beat most people at chess. My maturity could use some work though.

Last IQ test I had, I scored a 142. Unfortunately, I don't think it's at that level anymore.

Just an FYI: Einstein is said to have had around 170-175.
Last time I took a legit one I scored around 120.

Depending where you live, IQs are diffrent.
I took a test and im not sure what i got because there are 3 diffrent settings.
Either its 135 (lowest setting), 137 (medium setting) or 156 (the highest setting)
Either way they all seem to be above high (fuck even it says its very close to mensa level) if i can read it correctly, i might just've been lucky if i did get any wrong while doing them, but i dunno. The test also says its just a guideline.

Indeed, while you can tell less-intelligent people from more intelligent by looking at an IQ diffrence with like.. 30+ or something, IQ still dosnt mean everything with how smart a person is.
IIRC IQ is really only about logical thinking?

it's more about your general understanding rather than "this person has X amount of intelligence", it's odd but eh
also anyone over 135~ in this thread most likely had an incorrect or inaccurate test (no offense) average IQ is 100 +/- either 15 or 30 depending on some people, but anything over 130/140 is pretty unlikely (or you just happen to have a high IQ, good job)

My test was off of mensa's website (the danish one), so i guess mine is decently accurate

Last time I took an official IQ test at school was about 10 years ago and I scored 106 if I recall correctly.
For all information, IQ test stays at 100 average. So an IQ of 100 right now should be a lot more intelligent then an IQ of 100 a long time ago.
That said, Einstein never did an IQ test because they didn't exist around his time yet. But his IQ would be guessed around 160-180. But this can not be used as guarantee and hence should not be used to compare stuff with.

A normal healthy person like us should be around 100-110. Not higher, or else you would've been in university for master scientist by now.

anything under 70 is classification for mental retardation
anything over 130 is legitimately incredible intelligence (intelligence measured in the IQ scale at least), the sd for iq is 15, and aprox 95% of all tests score within two sd's of the average, which would be the 70-130 range, so yeah, anyone over 130 is apparently in a rare 2,5~% of people to have "higher than the mean" IQ, which frankly for anyone sat on their ass on a gaming community is highly unlikely

I'm pretty sure I took a test which gave me a score of 130, took an online test just and it gave me 90, I don't believe the online test, I'm not dumn-

get one in person from a psychiatrist or that sort of thing, maybe through your school some how, pretty much every online one is bs

Which reminds me of something pretty obvious:
You can't really be "The smartest person in the world."
Everyone has his strong sides in intelligence.
Example: Person1 studied in physics, hence he knows more about newton, law of gravity and what not.
Person 2 studied in IT, hence he knows more about computer technology.
So all in all, everyone has his strong and weak sides.
My own? I'm good in computer programming and technical research and development. My weak side is language (Dyslexia) and management. (Paperwork etc.)
