Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 discussion
« on: May 02, 2011, 11:03:31 AM »
Modern warfare 3 is going to be amazing. All I've heard is that infinity ward are making the storyline, and two new companies are doing online.

I vote the story mode to be about bin laden and terrorists to be honest, discuss away

Meh, I only really like CoD 4 to be honest, but I suppose I'll give MW3 A try as MW2 was quite fun

Ahhh... CoD4 was where it was at  :)  I miss CoD4 so damn much.
CoD5's singleplayer was interesting, nice to see the Pacific Theatre get some attention for once.
MW2 refined CoD4's class/perk system, but when Black Ops rolled around I thought the multiplayer experience was getting a little bit too redundant. Amazing storyline though.

As for MW3, I think it will be eclipsed by Battlefield 3 (by DICE). Anyone here a fan of the Battlefield franchise?

Call of Duty went to shit after 4, becoming a company that does DAY 1 DLC FOR LARGE PRICE, and literally milks the users of their money. Also, the series is being rushed and should just be avoided.

Sadly Modern Warfare 3 may be subscription based for the multi-player. This is not confirmed but there are many rumors out there.

But I don't think I enter in on this venture. I may rent it to play the single player, but I shall leave it after that. The call of duty franchise has been going down hill since Call of Duty 4. Modern Warfare 3 also may suffer in some parts as a large portion of the team separated, due to various reasons (apparently Activision were withholding bonuses from MW2), and formed their own group, respawn entertainment. There is also a lawsuit going, and part of it stands the chance to prevent Activision from making any more games in the Call of Duty setting.

Anyway, more excited for Battlefield 3 .
