Mood Setting Sound (Skip to 10:00)
Shortly after lunch, the large cumulonimbis clouds became visible in the western valley. The sheer size of the massive white cloud, accented by the specks of cloud fragmets and deep blue sky, gave it an intimidating, menacing look.
As the sun went behind the godly cloud, the temperature began to drop. The warm spring air turned to a chilly humid atmosphere anyone would notice. The air smelt fresh, the same freshness that comes before a wicked storm. The winds gusted for several minutes. The gust front. The cloud had started rolling over Ineu Mountain. If one looked to the west, they would only see a gradient where cloud met a wall of dark grey blue haze. The surrounding land added to this gradient and it seemed to be going in slightly diagnol lines, barely visible.
The cloud rolled over the pass, with the rain following not too far behind. Its wasn't your average rain. This was the kind of rain that could fill a bucket with water in thirty seconds. The slopes and hills on the mountain begcle slippery with water dripping down the rocks and trees. The rivers began to flow more rpidly, the waterfalls more violent and vigerous. Animals, mostly birds, went for cover to get out of the cold, hard rain.
About five minutes in, thunder and lightning added to the storm. Random flashes and the deep, heavy roll of thunder spilled over the mountain and the valley. The visibility on the ground was minimal. You couldn't see forty feet before everything turned to a dense grey fog of rain and wind.
TL;DR, a rain storm that lasts a fairly long time.
Administrators will be needed to run the rain loop sound and play thunder sounds at random as well as do things such as flooding and other environmental effects. The winds are also extremely strong so some fallen trees could be placed.
Why?
We need more environmental events. We are in the mountains. Shit happens.
Do we need to participate?
Yes. Its raining with strong winds. You should probably RP it, even if you plan to be inside all day.
What can we do for it?
-RP being soaked after doing something outside
-Catch a cold
-If you are outside, you might find it hard to climb hills. If you try to climb hills, theres the risk of sliping and falling
-If you are outside, surfaces will be slippery so walking across logs or climbing unstable wood stairs may cause you to fall off

Great idea for an event, even though I hate the rain, both OOCly and ICly. It would create some interesting RP material.

Now if only there was a way to override the fog for all players and induce rain effects.

I like. It's a very passive event, and it can lead to other things such as floods in the Beles town (done before, I know, but still fun). Airboats will come in handy in this case. I wish there was actually a way to raise the water levels in the ravine, though :c
