My headset volume.
« on: May 02, 2012, 05:38:12 PM »
Is there anyway to make it louder? When I listen to music it isn't my ideal volume and I want it louder.

The headset I use is:

have you tried this? (copy pasta makes for the best support)

- Right click the speaker icon in the task bar (or choose Control Panel : Sound).
- Select Playback Tab : Speakers : Properties.
- Select Enhancements Tab.
- Check the Loudness Equalization box and click apply.

I did what you said, but it made it quieter. Listen to this song for example and then put the loudness equalization thingy on: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09LTT0xwdfw&ob=av3e

>Implying you use windows 7:
- Rightclick the speaker icon on the right of your taskbar.
- Choose playback
- Doubleclick on Speakers
- Go to the tab 'Levels'
- Confirm if all bars are all the way open, or just as far as you see fit.
- Go to the communication tab
- Check 'No action' (Or something along those lines) which is the 4th (last) option.
- Click apply.

Hopefully this works.
If not, maybe your headphones has a external volume adjustment attached on the cable? If so, try to higher the volume using that.
Check out my Youtube channel with all kinds of cool videos including LP's which I'm currently working at. Don't forget to give feedback as well. ;)
