This is my opinion/perspective: I think that we shot ourselves in the foot when we changed from C18 to C8. What I saw when we were at C18 was a good playerbase (20-30+ People). Could it be that it was a relatively new gamemode for CG and everyone hopped on the 'bandwagon'? Sure, it could be, but the thing is; after we changed to C8 the pop took a big dip and now we can't get anybody active.
CG's been hosting HL2RP for years.
However, I wouldn't object to returning to C18 until we rebuild the population. C18 honestly isn't that bad a map, and it's more-widely used than C45, meaning we get more people joining.

When I mean 'relatively new' I mean that it wasn't on the server list when I joined the CG community. But yes, I have seen C18 widely used across the board and I wouldn't be against going back even though it would be our third map change.

Getting back on topic with the thread, I am not totally against the idea of one unified division because of the aforementioned lack of playerbase and to only be around as a temporary solution. But the thing is: Why would it matter? The problem that needs to be fixed is the playerbase itself, how are we going to get new players in if the existing ones decided not to play anymore?

This is more of a generalized suggestion, but it does regard the MPF as the title entails so if it is moved to the correct thread, I will be totally fine with it.
I was thinking that since we have control rooms, garages, etc. I think certain units should have some sort of station, it may even give the RCTs to sit around in a control room waiting for a go ahead on a lockdown (an RCT whom is trustworthy or a unit that won't go pushing the lockdown button repeatedly.) but that is the for the sake of example. So, bottom line, I suggest there should be more stationed units rather than all units patrol and do nothing else.

After being on leave for a few weeks (refer to my LOA topic) I come back now with no stunstick and when I went to use my gun for actual target practice it disappeared as I was about to reload but still shows up in my inventory, which still doesn't allow me to use it.

Have you ever been detained or received any reprimands? If so, why?: I have never been detained, surprisingly. I try not to get in trouble and keep myself isolated from people.
Have you had any past experience in any of the following fields: labor, service, logistics, and or management? If you answered yes to any of those, explain the experience. I did not have any official experience in either of these fields. But I have done some manual labor growing up.
Why do you want to join the Civil Workers Union?: I do not want to be homeless anymore, I want to have a paying job and not out on the streets.
What can you provide to the Civil Workers Union?: I can move stuff around easily, providing exceptional labor.
If a citizen were new to the city, and was in need of assistance, what would you do?: I would point them in the right direction, not to get them in trouble with the MPF.
If a Unit was in need of assistance transporting goods, what would you do?: I would ask them if they needed any help, if they accepted my help I would do so.
If you spot a citizen disobeying Union Law, what do you do?: I would quickly report it to the nearest MPF unit with a physical description.

Give me a example of a role-play situation involving a Worker and a few Citizens: (This is from a little bit of knowledge of the CWU) A worker pushes his cart to the cafe carrying supplies: Food, goods, etc. A group of citizens notice the cart and mug the worker for his cart. His face is pummeled and he is drooling blood out the corner of his mouth, he limps to the nearest unit around the corner and pleads for his help, giving rough descriptions of the citizens. The rest of the story is unknown to the worker but he continues pushing his cart without any trouble in the future.

I don't think the idea was to have it be all bright and cheery, just some lights to accent it, like in the picture he linked.

This. I want to be a little more clear: Yes the combine is known to hate humans with a passion, of course their holding cells will be dark. However, look at my linked image one more time, the door to the darkest part in the room is lit up brightly. It will be the door burned into your mind that you fucked up in the eyes of the MPF. That's why I think it looks so cool, the lighting. It's only an accent to make the place a little more sinister than just a bland pitch black room.

I would like to join to enforce all laws and stop crimes. To keep the people safe and sound. To also make sure their will be no rebels. To push back the resistance. Unify the galaxy. Also to bring peace to the galaxy. I would follow all rules. To kill Gordan Freeman if he shows his face. To make everything a better place.
Our story takes place literally years before Freeman shows up. You're staying on Earth, not roaming the galaxy.
2) Please detail your characters traits. (Eg, Pure, Lawful, Trustworthy)
Trustworthy, obeys when a command is told. lawful, honest, and is determined.

I expect it to be a new way of life. I also expect to fight any possible dangers. To protect citizens and other life forms that mean no harm.

Well it all began when the combine took over Earth. Boy was that something, the USA and other countries were too weak to defend earth.
The again we had a crappy president but still. Boy that made me upset. I just couldn't believe for the rest of my life i will have to be a slave to the combine. I tried to do every thing i could to stop them but i couldn't. I then realized this is going to be life now, I have to suck it up and take the pain. My old job was a police officer, so I thought if this is what life is going to be like, I should join the Civil Protection team. Hopefully I won't have to beat up every person I see, but i guess that is how things work now. I promise to serve the Combine for as long as I live and be loyal to them and punish anybody breaking the laws. Hopefully it will be similar to my old life..... before the Combine.....

Pretty sure that MPFs knew about this problem but I thought it'd be appropriate to address it here because that's what the thread's name entails.
Problem: Seems like when you open one of the doors that door never closes, but when you open the second door (doesn't matter which side, as long as it's the second one being open) it'll open and close like normal.

Thank god they did not kill him though, usually they would deal with that sort of punishment but for whatever reason, they chose this for him. As he packs his things, he realizes he was going through the same story as before, something that happened to him as a child. Looking back to his 'childhood', his parents were forcefully taken out of their home and he was left to fend for himself by hiding in the cellar where he could not be seen. However, they did come down to the cellar after 'detaining' his parents. He quickly found a hole in the wall and climbed through, at the time he was only a kid and was able to move somewhat freely. After that, it is history but what it is known is that his parents ultimately paid the price. Growing up as an urchin, he did what he could do to survive. Scrounging for food, endure the daily beatings, the normal life as a citizen. However, this was his old life and he does not care to remember the past. He did not care much for his parents either, his mother was not around and his dad rambled on about how bad the Authority can be. But now, he is not out for revenge and he left his old life behind in order to move forward, to survive. In order for him to survive, he has to be smarter than his opposing force, if he can not take on a guy that is twice his size by hand, he'll do so with a stronger weapon that he is able to wield. I did increase the weight to make it seem a little more believable, I'm not a medical expert by all means but basically, this guy doesn't get enough food as he should. But now he works a general store.
