Title: New ram, computer doesn't boot
Post by: rBST Cow on May 28, 2014, 08:59:55 PM
So I got this new ram:

http://m.newegg.com/...N82E16820233248

And I have the Intel I5 650 with a MSI P55-GD80

Ever since I installed the new ram from my 2x2, my computer will stop at the motherboard loading screen thingy, like before windows pops up. What could be the issue?

Try this

CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 Desktop Memory Model CMZ16GX3M4X1866C9

Newegg hates mobile users

Remove all sticks of RAM and install one at a time, then boot your PC after each stick. See if you have a faulty stick.
