G500 is by far the nicest muse ive ever used, and its not that pricey. I recommend it...

I currently have the Logitech MX518. From what I see they look similar and have the buttons in the same positions. I can vouch for the MX518's reliabilty and user friendliness. It also comes with software that enables you to edit DPI/Sensitivity for different games and a whole lot more.

If the G500 is anything like the MX518 then get it, because it helped me especially in MMOFPS's.

It looks gorgeous - 5700 DPI  :P I'm tired of my shit Razer mouse I got for christmas last year, it kinda sucks really bad :/

Razer Abyssus - problem is, it doesn't fit in my hand at all, it's just too ordinary unfortunately. DPI is decent on 3500, that's all. (first world problems lol)

Razer mice tend to be small... As if made for a 12 year old female... The g500 has 3 extra buttons, 1 more than most gaming mice which have 2 ;3

Yes... Best gaming out out there... Could do with a redesign after all this time to change shape a bit though. G700 looks nice and is a good design i ecpect, but i rather not pay an ectra 20 dollars for useless wireless

Yes, the mouse is very good. It has around 5 stars and is very sleek. My neighbor has one and he loves it, I have used it before and I think it is worth the buy. It really depends on the user and how the mouse will feel when he or she get it.
