IC Character Name: Chloe Lalumiere
1) Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs OOC'ly detailing why your character wishes to join the Combine Civil Authority and what lead your character to do so.Chloe Lalumiere has been living in city 45 for about 3 months now, she has reported crimes to the CCA countless of times with the help of her request device. She met many people in the city, but none shared or equalled her high esteem for the CCA. She though only good of them, these officers who would gave their lives to defend the peace of the city. She couldn't understand why citizens could hate people who's job is to defend them.
One day, she was on her way to P3 in the intention to find contraband and bring it to the CCA and at the entrance of P3, she saw something that deeply scared her. An officer was being attacked by citizens, she was sickened by the though of citizens attacking those who tries their hardest to protect them, she had to help the officer. There were exactly 4 citizens surrounding the officer, she couldn't help him alone. She grabbed her request device and called for help, 2 combines sprinted toward P3 and arrived, there by helping the officer to escape from the citizens. The citizens were then put down right after the release of the officer.
Chloe felt honoured, but limited. She realized how she wasn't the one fighting the crimes, the CCA was, she was only the whistle blower, that is why she decided to join the CCA, she wants to fight crime with her own weapons, her own hands, her own body. She wants to be apart of something bigger than her, she wants to become an officer of the CCA.

3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character.I don't expect the CCA to be easy, I expect it to be a more developed RP than being a citizen, I expect to be treated like what I will be, a recruit, I don't expect to move up in rank until I've shown what I can do or what I am able to accomplish. I believe that my character has had enough encounter with lawbreakers for her to be merciless toward those who breaks the law.
I do believe that my character will have a rough time at first, but I do know that she will adapt to her new life very quickly. I know for a fact that my character will obey any orders given to her and I do understand that some of these orders will have bad consequences on her. I believe that the CCA will open new opportunities for my character and I do believe that it will help to develop her even further.
4) Please provide a detailed back-story from an out-of-character perspective on your applying character. This section must be detailed and consist of a minimum of 300 words.Chloe Lalumiere was born in France, she was the daughter of a drunk, her father would come back from the bar every night filled with alcohol and more violent than ever. Chloe's father would go in her room with his belt in his hand, he would come close to her ear and whisper : "Your mother died for the sorry waste that you are". he would then higher his hand and hit Chloe until his drunken mind lost interest in her. After years of constant repetitive beating, Chloe finally decided she have had enough, she left home and found a little village where a cult worshipping life was established, having no money, no friends and nothing to live for, she joined the cult as a monk and began her worship of life. They taught her what life was actually, they taught her why a human life wasn't more valuable than an animal one. She lived among the citizens of the village for years, she made friends and enemies, one of her most valuable friend was called Alexandra, she had blonde hair, green eyes and her voice would always calm Chloe when she was upset about anything.
One day, rumours were heard of creatures appearing here and there throughout the entire earth, monster they would call them. Waves of people heading toward cities then followed, they these people were looking for safety behind the defence lines of the army and their barricades. Wave after wave of people would go through the village, the village would then get overflowed with people, the crime rate spiked like never before in history, Pickpocket, murder, rape, stealing everything went insane, it was chaos. During one of the waves, things went out of control, people were breaking into houses, stealing the food that was left and killing the owner of the house. She was in her room speaking with Alexandra, when two men broke in, they grabbed Alexandra by the hair and they smashed her head against the wall, they then approached Chloe a knife in their hand, ready to attack her, when out of no where, a head crab appeared and jumped on one of the man, Chloe took the opportunity to sprint toward the man and tackled him to the ground, she grabbed his knife and threw it away, she rushed for Alexandra only to realize that the man who got attacked by the head crab managed to get rid of it and threw it away before cowardly running away, the head crab second victims was Alexandra. Chloe promised herself that no one should ever be hurt by cowards like them. Soon enough, the combine invaded, they razed her village and relocated her to city 45 which has been her home ever since.
She occupied her self by talking of before the war, until one day, she forgot what life before the war was. She didn't find anything to do, she would obey to orders and attempt to live a normal life. The only thing she could remember, was the brutal death of Alexandra, due to the cowardliness of criminals too weak to be honest. They made her cry, they ruined her life and she couldn't ever forgive herself for being so weak in front of such criminals. She promised to herself that she would do her best to eradicate these un-honourable human being from earth, she kept low profile while trying to catch law breaker. That is how she occupied her life until today.
