Title: New Headset
Post by: JF on May 05, 2011, 05:07:24 PM
My headset recently broke and i'm looking to buy a new one. I'm just wondering if anyone has any suggestions. it needs to be priced in the £15-£30 range, I'm not too bothered about looks but it does need to be durable, have decent sound quality and no shoddy plastic.

So, any suggestions?

I dont suggest these. I had a pair and became attached to them then the rubber started coming out and taking hair when it when i took them off... Then the back broke and the sound became horrible...

Nvm for the moment. I, ahem, repaired my headset. I might still be on the lookout for another headset soon since one of the headphones has broken off, but it is still functional.

Depending on whether your a gamer or not, I highly recommend this company:

http://store.razerzone.com/store/razerusa/en_US/DisplayCategoryProductListPage/categoryID.35096300

That site there sells some of the finest computer gaming equipment I've ever seen. I currently use these headphones:

http://store.razerzone.com/store/razerusa/en_US/pd/productID.169415800/categoryId.35096300

I've had them for almost three years, and they sound just as good as they did when I bought them. If you have the cash, get a Megalodon instead.

Yes, these don't meet the price range your looking for, and the fact is: you won't find a durable headset for that amount of money. These two headsets I suggested to you have very fine cording that is protective and won't break away and damage your headphones overall.
