Are there any Free, easy to use programs (and I do not mean "Free trial") that can do Modeling? I and to get into Modding a bit, and Modeling I think would be a great start. Also any good tutorials for mapping? I'm new to modifying completely, and I have an awesome Idea for this multiplayer zombie shooter (like Left 4 Dead, but you have a huge free roam city map) that I'll make one day.

I use blender at work, so I would recommend it if you're just starting to model.

I used this program called MilkShape 3D around 4 or 5 years ago, it might lack today's tech but try it out, it's a 30 day trial, $35 for the full product.

Can't recommend any free ones but if you want to eventually buy one you should get Cinema 4D.
