Idk if its the same in the states but in canada you go to college to get your certificate. Its a full time program that takes 11 months and must be your primary focus in order for you to succeed.
Its different in California then. The local community college offers a two month program then you take the NREMT.

After talking to one of my friends at my college and finding out he was an emt I realized that I never knew it was possible you could be an emt while in college. Now I have my heart set on quitting my office job and going to take an EMT-B class either my my current uni or local community college. What sucks though is that you have to be 18 in my state to be a certified emt and I don't turn 18 until next month. I know its not that long but it seems like it. So are there any emt/paramedics (I DO know the difference between the two.) that could give me some tips or useful information about the emt-b courses or getting a job once I have my cert?

New guns please, with next update and map we should start clean with more then rules/map. We should get new guns such as the Custimizable weaponry packs with the extra pack. Please... CSS is bland and old. This has been suggested before yes but since we are at a loss of players we need new blood. With customizable weaponry you have sights, more guns, silencers and ammo types, not to mention bullet pen that only goes trough what you tell it. Lots of money sinks will come from this and lots of ways to make money. Craft the sights, craft the guns, craft the many different types of ammo.
I have used this pack and it is amazing. I fully support this. Not many servers use this and it would make OCRP stick out.

So if CG can fix ocrp2 and not make it autistic, maybe waffle should sell the ocrp1.5 script and make it kinda like clockwork. If its leaked/someone gets a hold of it, like the clockwork script, it'll fuck up and there will still be back doors so the devs can wreck havoc. Plus the number 1 thing he will get from it, the most important thing to him it seems, DOSH
Are you talking about intentionally placing malicious code into the gamemode? Also putting a "backdoor" in the gamemode to gain unauthorized access to someones computer system is a felony in it of itself and possibly even more felonies depending on what you do once you are in the system. Not to mention someone could crack the backdoor and use it against you.
Why did OCRP die in the first place, anyway? The only thing bad about it was the amount of stuff you needed to install, but there wasn't even as much for OCRP as there was for HL2RP...
It died when the value of drugs got nerfed and other reasons. (I didn't care much about growing as I mostly did EMS)
You like completely misread that. In the clockwork gamemode they have back doors in it so they can give themselves admin in the case someone doesn't buy an actual copy of it. They don't put malicious things on you computer...

I said something along the lines of copyrights belonging to the community who paid the coder for his work unless stated otherwise with a contract signed by both parties. So if the job hirer wanted to purchase the original HRP instead of remaking an exact copy, he should contact Roflwaffle instead of Tomasas. But I highly doubt Roflwaffle wants to sell it anyway.
That's all I said. Nothing less, nothing more. And I got banned for "Bandwagonning".

When I got banned I to mentioned nothing about the job being a ripoff merely corrected someone that did not understand the copyright laws.
Now it appears that _Undefined will ban anyone that states that HRP doesn't belong to THOMASAS or using laws that arn't from THOMASAS's country...

So i just got banned because the admin over at the Gmod codehire site is deleting and banning everyone that says that the HRP job is a copyright violation instead of doing the responsible thing and taking it down.
I am assuming that he banned me and alaskan and maybe one other person.

Something makes me think this is a subtle attempt at getting karma to PM the CFM Password to you..
Regardless, a small icon or something that changes the format rather than just a text notif. would be useful for people who only glance around the forums from time to time. Something small like the exclamation point message icon would fit the bill.
The point is that it is hard to see PM's which can go unnoticed for days.

Please make the PM's more noticeable. The current PM notification text is to small and easily overlooked. I have missed PM's for days before and now I am trying to get my CFM broadcast password PM'ed to me but I don't think my PM to Karma has been seen because the PM text at the top of the screen is to small and easy to just overlook.
