The Society of Citizens - Group Information

Universal Union, Civil Workers' Union, City 45 Citizenry

Nicole Mason, Lucius Pierce, Robert Green

•   To offer support and aid to the general populace; to keep citizens active, happy, and out of trouble.
•   To encourage participation in Civil Workers' Union events and activities.
•   To convince and persuade the public to abide by Unionist laws and to remain out of the less reputable districts for their own safety.

•   Petitioning as a unified group to Civil Administration
•   Encouraging participation in Civil Workers Union tasks
•   Distributing pamphlets warning citizens of the dangers of the outlying districts.

The hierarchy is very straight-forward, and doesn't leave room for a power-struggle:

Management of the Society -> Welfare Employees > Welfare Volunteers

The Society of Citizens has one ambassador for each facet of operations: The Citizenry, the Civil Workers' Union, and the Universal Union, who meet regularly to discuss and regulate ideas.
These representatives will deal with issues regarding their represented groups:

  • Miss Nicole Mason as the ambassador on behalf of the Civil Workers Union
  • Mister Lucius Pierce as the ambassador for the Universal Union (specifically, Civil Administration)
  • Mister Robert Green representing the citizens of City Forty Five

Formed by a group of regular citizens, the Society was formed to act as a liaison between the Universal Union and the citizens at times when tensions between the two were high. Acting as an unofficial and undocumented movement for some time, the Society worked as close to the chest as possible in order to make the average citizen's life better without being in breach of Unionist laws. Although the Universal Union never seemed to take the Society's unified petitions seriously, the aim of the group proved to be rather effective.

The majority of the members being avid loyalists, their goals were always simple: improve the quality and standard of citizen's lives; make them happier, and, through this, reduce rates of crime in the city. This way their work would benefit both parties: the citizenry and Civil Protection. While their overall loyalty to the Union may not be fanatical in nature, the Society simply endeavours to keep their fellow citizens out of harm's way – be it criminals or by the iron fist of the Universal Union.

While there are many opportunities to participate in volunteer activities such as spreading the word of the dangers of the outlying districts, there are also a number of full time opportunities within the ranks of the Society of Citizens.

Membership to the Society is recognized with a small white shield sewn into the standard citizen overalls which can be sought from an ambassador of the Society.
Although there are no specific criteria for becoming a member, the Society does not recognise offenders of heinous crimes (murder, rape etc) as potential members.
