Well, if Rofl's done much right lately, it's this. Kudos on putting the right people in charge. Good luck, Ownerfags!

Kennedy, go right ahead and mourn his death, but what;s your point? Don't come into a RIP Whitney Houston thread to complain that nobody is mourning 1Sgt Sutton's death. You want to spread some awareness about it? Make a new fucking thread about it. You're acting like an anti-war protester at a high school pool party.

/rant.

Anyway, Whitney Houston had an amazing voice, and she will be missed. Wouldn't be surprised if her coke usage got the better of her later in life. Shit kills people.

Edit: Hoptile beat me to it.

Well, whether you like him or hate him, there's one thing I guarantee will make you better in the long run.

Forgive him for his abuses. What he's done to the family over a long course of time has probably left scars that willll take time AND forgiveness to heal.

Half-Life 2 Roleplay / Re: City 45 Basketball Hoop!

Hmm, we seem to have some good ideas flowing in. Actually doing something creative with the recreation area (the only patch of grass in the whole damn city) would really help out citizen RP. The Combine would only wish that the citizens don't bother them and stay contained, not that they walk in circles all day. Perhaps it would be beneficial to the CCA if the citizens had some recreation to keep stress, which is a possible cause of anticitizen activity, down. I'll pitch the idea to Kaz.

If I was able to do applications, I would favor RP skill over a few application faults. It's a bit of a stretch, but if you've got a couple errors, I'd probably expect them to be overlooked if the person reviewing your application knows you RP well.

This is beautiful, and this WILL most likely be a very worthy successor to the original C45 paper. When applications open, I'd love to write a little for it.

Don't cry! I'm still here! But, I feel relieved to be a Gold Member. :D

That was my belief as well. Valve probably had to create a new engine just to keep up with the times and make their release that much better. I'd like to whack headcrabs with Skyrim-level graphics.

You know, being an admin was a roller-coaster for me. I've been with CG, trying to administrate through good and bad times. I had let my passion take me for a ride on this roller-coaster of drama that is a GMOD community, and if there's one thing I've become out of all of this, out of love and hatred for CG, it's somewhere in the middle. I no longer wish to influence anything, or try to make a change. Things will improve, and things will diminish. But, this is just a matter of fact. It happens with all communities, and my only regret is letting my passion for reform get the better of me, for better or for worse. This is why I am doing what I am about to do now.

I've decided that it's best to move on when you lose all passion. I've become completely apathetic. My rage and happiness both drained consequently. I've seen CG in its prime, and CG at its worst, so far. Things go up, and things go down. And I realized that the only time I'm able to move on from a community is when I become apathetic. No more commitment. No more being held down by anything. Perhaps that's what I desire and I might move on peacefully. No bad blood between anyone in the community and myself. I've got nothing against anyone anymore. I just simply don't feel the need to continue a commitment with a GMOD community. Because, after you go through community after community, you realize that it's a mirror image to life. You live, then you die. But how you choose to see your impending death as an inevitable fate, a horrific curse, or a joyful blessing determines your outlook on how you lived, won and lost. Maybe it's time I hung up the towel and left commitment in video games altogether.

So, Administration, I think it would be fitting if I could be let go passively and on a high note. I would also like to take this time to apologize to all that my actions so far have had a negative impact on. This isn't a "goodbye from the community" thread, it is simply my final request as an administrator to allow me to shrug off the weights. I'm not a quitter, I just see it necessary to move on.

I'll stick around, and enjoy the game for what it is meant to be-a game. I'd like to see gaming through the eyes of the regular player again.

Forgive my inability to post anything more, but my leaving of the administration team is just because nothing lasts forever, and I do not want to put myself in a position detrimental to my values. I'll stick around, helping out those who need it, and feel free to accept my advice about certain things if you choose not to devalue my opinions when I lose my spiffy green tag. Be it resolved that I will not accept administrative positions anywhere else.

So I'll see you all not later, or soon, but TOMORROW WITH A GOLD TAG.

Actually, for me, the interest level declined but then leveled off after about five months. I'm now apathetic toward it, but you only touched upon something. Becoming an admin also, according to Roflwaffle, ties you down to the community(expect that). No more playing on any other community on servers in the same interest group as CG's, at least in my case, that's what happened.

Be very careful when wanting to become an administrator. Do you want the power, and want to stay with CG in sickness and in health? Do you want to "get married" to CG? Go for it. But, if you don't want that level of commitment, hold off on it.

Well, if you have an Android phone, you could get Tapatalk. It's decent as a board reader and is compatible with everything as far as I know.

After being seriously for the uprising of the people of CG to get what they want...

All I can say is that I'm intrigued by this parallel to real-world events. I'm starting to realize how the internet is a micro-world, so to speak. I am able to draw that conclusion due to the rapid, volatile properties of gaming communities in the regard that things happen much more quickly than real-world events.

I support the more libertarian people of CG who want the right to a protecting, fair administration, over the more authoritarian higher-administration who want an end to all this bitching, so all I can do is hope for the best here. I'm no longer focused on getting involved in the actual "riots", rather trying to do what I can to let the people do what they please to gain the majority opinion. So, I vote to let DBK proceed as he wants.
Good luck to you, with this "call to action." I guess we will see what happens.

I got the EVGA GTX 560 Ti 1GB card, with the dual fans. Woo. 10$ MIR brings it down to $220.
