Title: Assignment I've been working on.
Post by: kmp on February 26, 2013, 06:08:19 AM
I've just moved into Year 11 (2 years left of school woo) and we had to make an item for my graphics assignment, which I have finished. I would get more rendered views, but I don't have multiple cameras.

Things that bug me is those black lines on the watch that aren't supposed to be there and the dull-ness on the watch face, same with the text. Other then that, I'm pretty happy with what I've done, especially compared to work I've done around 6 months ago.

Yep. Only modelling program I can really use.

Have you heard of 3DS max program made by autodesk? I'm not aware of it's functions per say, but I heard it allows more customization to modeling.

I used 3ds in the past, not my cup of tea. I find it too... impractical. Over-complicated. Plus I don't think the texturing can work as well in 3ds max as it does in blender, but it can get a cleaner finish to a model.
