I find this an absolute mockery of HL2RP. Not only does it not fit into or around our canon but its not realisic. Combine with skull heads? Citizens shoving pumpkins on their heads?
Also what happen to "No TF2 Props" RTLK....

Also Abbot is running about as the headless horseman causing people to report it IC and 713 saying "Headless horseman in CA office CODE RED"

Its called HL2RP for a reason, just because you can change stuff doesnt mean you can make a mockery of the basis of hl2rp or let a admin run around as the headless horseman.

That was the only time I was outside with the model, because we were testing it to see if it had any turning or anything, what 713 said was OOC since my character was never IC, but for the rest of the time after that I was in Nexus, however now I am Odessa again...

I have to agree with Adam here. The whole pumpkin/skull head seems really ridiculous. I get that it's Halloween and all, but it's also a serious RP server, and idiotic heads that look stupid just don't seem to serious, and will certainly not bring seriousness from the players. This will just cause people to minge more, I see absolutely no purpose for this update. Sure, it's cool and things, blah blah blah. It's seriously unneeded and somewhat unprofessional. That's just my two cents of it anyway.

Yeah pumpkins would be fine "within reason" (TF2 Glowing ones are abit too much like the candy one). But the rest was horrible.

The heads have been removed.
The only decoration is the pumpkins on the front of the nexus and a little bit of decoration. I'll keep on adding more around the map to get it looking decent.
It's not too much right know though, I don't think.

This is also true, from the roaming through countless hl2rp files I have stored in a chest in my pc.
... I'm interested in the christmas update...

I'm fine with the stuff in front of the nexus, but personally I thought the whole skull and pumpkin heads thing encouraged unseriousness and dicking around.

Everything to do with Halloween in HL2RP is generally a bad idea mainly because it is seen as unserious as combine don't celebrate Halloween.
Should be in OCRP as Yankee said.

What I would suggest is a halloween themed event. Such as the UCH being haunted, admins playing the part of evil spirits and crap, dressing up some of the rooms to look all horror-ish. Citizen walks in, they run away in fear, report it to CCA. CCA bust in, and nothing is there.
etc. etc. etc.

that's like saying the Christmas hols is only December 25th. Holidays are a single date but the events of em could be longer like Halloween or christmas
