Title: The first game you played as a child.

When you were younger, tell the first normal game(for anything) and then for proper pc gaming.

Mine would be one of the old as hell mario's for any, as they are really good.
My proper PC would be the first medal of honor, they were really good at the time, along with graphics at that time.

For all, It was duck hunt for the NSES, for PC it was either halo 1/2 or warcraft 3, can't remember.

I have a vague memory of playing Sonic on the SEGA master system....

The first game, that I have ever seen, was Half Life 1. But at that age I was so scared of the little headcrabs I never asked my father to give me a turn.

The first game that I have ever played, was Medal of Honor: Allied Assualt. At times I still play it, it makes me nostalgic of the age that gaming companies cared what music went into their games, the Medal of Honor theme was and is still legendary.

I played Crash Bandicoot, Mario, and all those old gameboy games and such, but the first I really remember was Grand Theft Auto III, my parents would hide it on top of the shelves, and I would stand up on a chair and get boosted up onto the counter, then grab it. I did that when I was no more than about 5. My first real PC game? Half life 2 of course, probably a little while after its release. For my first gaming years it was pretty much all console.

It was either Hexen or Heretic, but it was so long ago I can barely remember which one. Doom was another early one, along with Half-Life (I was playing that when I was about four or something).

Well yes, I obviously played those as well. I played every single old mario game.
But which one I played FIRST? Could probably be mario bros, or mario vs donkey kong? I really can't remember. xD

I frankly can't remember my first game.  Most likely, it was one of those "Jump Start" educational ones.  However, one of my close friends had Duke Nukem 3D.  I don't know if I played that.  I also might have played Diablo, which my dad had and played fairly often.  If none of those, then Half Life, which my dad also played frequently.  However, like Diablo, I considered it too scary to really play it much.  ???

Eventually, my first console I got was most likely a Sega Genesis.  Can't remember where I got it, but it was a hand-me-down from someone.  It had Streetfighter (Can't remember which one), X-Men Genesis (I think that's what it was), and some Sonic game.

My first RTS I remember well as being Star Wars: Empire at War.  Until I discovered Supreme Commander and later the Total War series, that game was epic on so many levels.

My first game was uhh...I kind of forgot the name of it. It wasn't a really popular game but it was played on the Nintendo Colored. You contolled a tank and you had to battle out with other Computer tanks and the goal is to eliminate all of them. Kind of a simple game, as a matter of fact.

My first proper PC game was Half Life 1 and Counter Strike 1.4 
I was a that time completely amazed by the graphics and game-play.

First game ever was Need for Speed High Stakes (2000) on the computer and i was 5 years old. I only remember slamming into other cars because i thought it was funny. I found out about the Gameboy from my friend, and played all sorts of Gameboy games, but I mainly played Super Mario Bros 3 and Pokemon (fuck yeah). I could go on the list of what I used to play on the gameboy, but I cba. When I first started playing computer FPS games (for reals), i started with some Deer Hunter (which I was horrible at but I don't remember the year.) I then went on to play Halo for a few months, and then I saw a friend playing Battlefield 2 Demo, and I played that for about half a year (I was then 12 and it was 2007). Sadly, I had just started actual PC gaming and I was playing on a laptop. Halfway through the year, I finally got Battlefield 2, and then got the Project Reality mod (Which I still play today). I then went to Walmart one day, and saw Counter-Strike: Source and I remember seeing over Xfire that someone was playing it. So I bought it, not realizing that it came with HL2:DM and DOD:S, so I played 900 dreadful hours of COOP, RP, and Puzzles on HL2:DM. After those 900 hours, someone bought me Garrysmod on my first account. I loved it. I went to Hostell HL2RP in 2009. Hostell is where I first learned to properly RP (Before I became a fucking retarded troll. Thanks Roflwaffle.) Hostell went through a small segment where Pidgey (Previous Owner) decided to be a dumb fuck and left. I got Left 4 Dead and started playing that for some unknown hours (too lazy to check), and then I found PERP servers. Went to CruelIntentions PERP and met RoflWaffle in what I believe was 2010, and I bought my first Gaming Computer. After that closed, Waffle made CG and I joined. Then we went on some Minecraft server and made some mountain housing thing which he later blew up. At the same time with the Minecraft, the FIRST HL2RP went up on CG and it wasn't up too long, so there goes that. Then I found OC's GMR and played on that for a month and then we got another HL2RP and then I got DvL. As soon as that happened, we adopted OCRP and then all the people started flooding into CG. After quite a while, nothing much changed. Still played all my games tied in with Project Reality now and again.

Pretty short summary of my time with gaming.

Doom, Duke Nukem, Quake, Command and Conquer, Super Mario.
All of them on the PS1 and N64 and on the PC using MS-DOS, awesome days.

I still play Quake and Doom time to time on the PC. I suppose the Nostalgia is what made it amazing.
