Yes guys, its now official, and after nearly a month of work, its open to the CG community.

So, whats on the server??
- A fully functional server with minimal down time, and no lag!
- A Economy system with chest shops!
- LWC for your basic protection needs!
- A ready to go admin staff ready to help you when you need it!
- A prebuilt spawn city found under the ocean!  Atlantis can provide you a free apartment for a temporary stay, with a full sized industrial and market section, and even a PvP or PvM Colosseum, with lots available for those that would rather a more permanent stay, a small park, and even a tavern!
- Whitelisted only, to prevent massive failure, griefing, and leaking the IP to /b/ boards of unsightly locals. (Get whitelisted here (http://www.catalyst-gaming.net/index.php?topic=12727.0))
- Rank based benefits!!! (We all know people love those!)
- McMMO for an RPGish gameplay, allowing skills to be earned and abilities to be unlocked!
- WorldGuard, preventing creeper assplosions since 2010!
- WorldEdit, for those larger scaled needs.
- Wallclocks, displaying IRL time based on GMT and Ingame time, all in a sign on a wall!
- Essentials, for the basic needs ofcourse. (Cause we all need to smite people sometimes)
- PermissionsEX, to prevent regulars from smiting all.
- Ancient Gates, allowing gates that teleport people from place to place, much like creative gates, but actually working.
- Minequery, for the status bar at the top of the screen.
- Mobs drop money!!!
- Players!


So, there are rules, right?
- Don't Grief, seriously.
- If you don't want something stolen, lock it, or its fair game.
- Keep racism minimal, as this is a friendly server.
- Don't flame, argue, etc, keep it to the /tells or forum pm's.
- Don't abuse anything, or it just might be revoked.
- Don't give yourselve's things as an admin/super, or change a gamemode on anyone without asking myself or Saoul.
- Don't be elitist, having a rank is a permission that can be revoked.
- Any Predetermined CG rule, especially for admins.

More benefits to come as I develop this server further.  Do send suggestions and what not.

Nice thread.

A big suggestion, what I already told a few times now:
Falsebook or Craftbook.

I believe Falsebook stopped to update since 1.2.3, but I think Craftbook is up to date. You can set all the [MC####] signs as separate permission, meaning you can add them as VIP/GOLD benefits as well.

Example: VIPs can use day detectors etc,
GOLDS can use arrow shooters and whatnot.

I'll talk to some people and maybe have a community vote on that.  I don't think that 100+ plugins will make for a great server tbh.

Was just playing on it, still am. It's a really fun server, however I found it really difficult to get out of spawn.

To get to the wild from spawn, walk into the basement of the spawn building, there are portals to get out.

That's why I'm not suggesting 100+ plugins. I'm suggesting 1 single AMAZING plugin, that's about it.
If you can imagine what things you can make with False-/Craftbook + redstone skills, you will be amazed.

Meh, I say no more plugins. I like MC the way it's made.

You can always build your own town/faction.
Superadmins can set a region including permissions and flags to all your needs. This means that I can set flags to protect your town from fire to mob spawning and much more. I can also set construct permission per player on your land, so only those who you want will be able to build in your town.

That's not too much of a problem. That way people can't just join and grief, they have to be whitelisted first. If they're only going to join the server to grief they probably won't go through the process of being whitelisted.

Deal with it.
Rather you have to wait a few hours at most, then having the server shut down because the entire map turned into hell by /b/ griefers.
