One paragraph backstory:When Michael goldbeck turned 21 the 7 hour war started Michael hid under a car and sit there for 2 of the 7 hours. then the car got flipped over by a strider Michael ran into a nearby combine who0 told him "come with me" he followed him and gave him shelter in a nearby combine base. michael wants to join the citadel daily to thank the combine for saving him and to give the citizens something to do in their spare time.
