Yes yes yes yes yes. I remember playing that on hl2dm and loved it. So much passive from the shops, but we should put an npc in the un-unlockable gunshop for guns and make them expensive as balls.

Now... You see why you can't simply just raise/lower gun prices? You do one thing you damn another. If you honestly wish to stop people from killing one another you would lua code a system which would put wanted on anyone who kills a player regardless if a cop sees them or not. At the same time for thigns such as, "herp money makers" you would have cons. Money Printers just exploding isn't a con... A hinder yes, but not a con. Money Printers should actually make the noise of something printing, and require ink to produce cash... Likewise it should produce cash in smaller but faster amounts.

Also... Get out of modern day, and stop impending rules which restrict roleplay.

Yeah thats the sucky part. The RTS concept would work to a point, but in reality it would just get really confusing on the playerbase.

Serverfront

WOTS RTS

Concept: Have a Company of Heroes/RUSE type RTS based on War of The Servers. Three vehicle trees. Aircraft, Naval, Land.

Admin Aircraft

Standard Admin Aircraft:

Admin Airboat - One Machine Gun
Admin Bomber - Two Cinderblocks and Anti-Air Machine Guns.

Special Class Types:

Admin Airboat
- Dive Bomber(Lua Cinderblocks)
- Torpedo Bomber (Specialized for Anti-Naval Warfare. Suffers from slow movement)
- Interceptor(Has two machine guns over one; 35% more damage dealt to ground forces/other aircraft, but is weakly armored.)

Bomber
- Carpet Cleaner (Carpet Bomber)
- Strafe Runner (Strafe runs indicated areas, and does serious damage to infantry inside of the areas. Cannot Damage Building/Armor/Naval)
- Para-Trooper (Drops loaded units onto positions. Has no defensive capability, and is weakly armored.)
- Leaflet Bomber (Drops flamming props onto buildings/enemy units. Inflicts slow, but deadly fire damage)

Specialization are bought when the aircraft are docked in airbases. For the para-trooper specialization the admins will have to be garrisoned into the airbase before launching.

Admin Navy


Standard Admin Navy vessels:

Thunderchild Class Battleship - Four main guns, one mortar.
Moderator Class Frigate - Two turrets (three guns per turret)
Monitor Class Aircraft Carrier - Garrisoned aircraft


Special Class Types


Thunderchild Class
- Firechild (Three Mortars for long range attacks.)
- Transport (Garrisons units for marine landings.)
- Rocket Artillery (Launches rockets at buildings/fortifications)

Moderator Class
- Anti-Aircraft (Equipped with AA over Anti-Ship)
- Torpedo Boat (Armed with light guns, but carries devastating torpedoes)
- Mine Layer (Armed with explosive mines. If contacted by ANY ship. Boom.)

Monitor Class
- Raiders (Paratrooper Aircraft)
- Anti-Aircraft (AA Guns placed throughout the ship.)
- Radar (Long range detection of enemy aircraft)

Admin Infantry

Standard Admin Infantry

Guru - Builds fortifications, and buildings.
Moderator - Fast/Light Infantry which uses SMG-7's
Admins - Normal Infantry which uses SMG-7's

Special Class Types


Guru
- Grease Monkey (Repairs, and Salvages vehicles)
- Trapper (Lays booby-traps on doors/destroyed vehicles.)
- Firefighter (Stops incendiary damage from bombings/bombardments)

Moderator
- Scout (Hidden unit which uses a shotgun, and can ambush or watch enemy movements.)
- Conscript (Spawns three more moderators, but attack/health is cut in half.)

Admin
- Storm Troopers (Uses AR2 Pulse Rifles, and has higher damage, but less health)
- RP Server Veteran (Uses SMG-7's and Shotguns[random spawn]. Can see booby-traps, and disable them.)
- RPCB (Anti-Armor Unit which uses Rocket Propelled Cinderblocks too attack buildings/armor)
- Machine Gunner (Uses AR3 Pulse Machine Guns. Slow moving, but deadly.
- Port-Forwarder (Forward Medic which heals wounded soldiers.)

Admin Light Vehicles


Standard Admins Light Vehicles

Jeep - Transports admins around the field
LAT-1 - Light admin tank. Has one cannon, but is easily killed.


Special Class Types

Jeep
- Gun Truck (Has two AR3 Pulse Machine Guns, and is armored like a LAT-1. Can only attack infantry.)
- Artillery Transport (Transports Admin Cannon, and crew)
- Guru Tank (Improvised LAT-1. Has less armor, but has the same gun as a LAT-1.)

LAT-1
- Rocket Cylinders (Rocket Artillery is equipped to the top of the tank. Moves slower then the normal LAT-1)
- Transport (LAT is converted into a fast moving transport. It has no guns, but transports two times the people the jeep does at slightly faster speeds)
- LAT-2 (Equipped with an Admin Cannon.)

Admin Armor


Standard Admin Armor

MT-1 - Medium Tank which has a high velocity admin cannon, and two AR3 Pulse MGs
HT-1 - Heavy Tank which uses an experimental shell which pierces and explodes inside enemy armor. It also is equipped with two AR3 Pulse MGs, and one anti-air gun.


Special Class Types

MT-1
- Spearhead (Equips a stronger engine which pumps more horsepower.)
- Flamethrower (Adds a flamethrower too the tank, but takes away the main cannon)
- Hillbilly Armoring (Add metal plates too the tank, but slows it down)

HT-1
- Big Betty (Equips an longer barreled cannon which fires HE)
- Troop Rails (Allows troops to ride on the tank into the battlefield)
- Camo-Netting (Allows the tank to act as a Tank-Destroyer)




I would make more concepts, but this is all I got for now.

Hey name's Joey Skylynx.
I've played the Harbor RP atleast once or twice. Other then that the only knowledge I have for the majority of CG is having some interestring times with RoflWaffle, and probably screwing around the suggestions back in VG/PE. Sorry if I really can't come up with much info, but glad to be here!
